I'm trying to order a smash tourney and you're correcting someone's english on a forum, it doesn't help...

anywhoo I've read what everyone's posted and I'll add some updates to the first post.

Regarding the americans, again FC6 is happening and people are still in america. Im still thinking of forwarding this tournament to September + it would be sweet to make this tournament international ^_^. The main things we require are housing and TV's.

Fingers crossed that their 'holiday' ends soon :) + the same for other people that went.

I'm updating the rules as well according to what BB has stated.

Let's forward this tournament by a few weeks. Is everyone ok with mid september? I don't want to have the tournament in October because it would clash with BloodBowler's.

If i can get everyone to answer this question before tomorrow I'd be greatful because i need to get the venue sorted out ASAP.

I'll come to this provided the mafia go.This sounds good.I'm not particularly bothered when its being set up in September,since its probably going to be a weekend anyway.

Also about the stages-I agree with what BloodBowler has said plus there are a couple other stages I disagree with,though this is really just personal input and its your decision.
Kongo Jungle NGC is a horrible stage in my experience,too small both vertically and horizontally.
Yoshi's Island-again way too small.for me this stage isnt a problem lol,since its a falcon stage but its still crap.
I dont really agree with Green Greens but meh I guess you should keep that in.

Also why is Kongo 64 off the counter list?I've always thought of it as a pretty good stage :-/

and honestly, paying for a BnB (not hotel) for one night doesnt bother me a huge amount....

and rouse, im pefectly aware that not many people will be willing to, but to lighten the load on those offering housing, i said i wouldnt be adverse to it, should i need to.

however, obviously, being put up for free would be preffered, more caffiene money! XD

yeh jay its been changed to yeovil now and obviously free housing is beta then paying so me and joey can buy more red bull

Späm here, first time poster!!

Was just checking out the posts and I got all sweaty and hyper thinking about this possible tourney. I just wanna say, PLEASE MAKE SURE THE TOURNEY HAPPENS. I would definitely be there if its confirmed. I also got about 4 friends (maybe more) who would wanna be there too.

America's got the FC Tourney. I think the UK deserves a tourney too!! Plus me and meh smash playing buddies don't really know how good we are compared to people outside our playing arena, so a tourney would be a great way to open our eyes (after we get knocked out in the first round or something!! :laugh: )

Anywho, Rouse, imoneofthem, and the rest of u guys involved in making it happen, keep up the good work and keep us posted!!!

....i'm hungry.... :confused:

Hey Spam, Hey Caliban. I'm Rouse, how you doin'? Imoneofthem is looking into a venue very (very) soon and i'm sure we'll have one, and over 30 people coming, befroe the end of the week. Patience is the key (thank god we've got me here for riot control.... Anywho, get a bunch of people in a volvo/train and chug your way down to London on the new date sometime in september (Imoneofthem will sort that out later...).

Caliban it would be awesome if you and your mates would come, even if we don't have a venue immediately.

We've had a possible venue for a while, so watch this space...

As per usual, watch this space, snoop around the forums and have a great time...
