The Light House--Previews and Discussion

So. The Light House is a pretty neat place! We've got some awesome threads, funny people, and a great social. We have interviews being held at a regular basis to get to know the other members more / better, and the Game Nights and taking another step in being able to bond with the fellow members whilst playing your favourite video games. The podcasts were hyped and started upon but the activity has died down, so I will wait that out until others decide recording a podcast would be a good / interesting project.

What else would you guys like to see, if anything? I know I've had in mind a sort of "Challenger Approaching" series where a video game record (Tetris, Mario Kart Time Trial, etc.) would be uploaded to Youtube, and for the next week, people would record and submit their videos which beat the original score. The problem I thought about was how we'd need a collaborative between a couple people to host games of a large variety, and even then, those people would need relatively solid recording equipment on top of that. But perhaps there are other ideas, like community submitted character guides for something like BlazBlue or Fire Emblem. The world of gaming is one that is ever-expanding. So I ask you, what are your thoughts, Light House?

The LH is definitely a lot more engaging and lively than it was a couple of months ago so kudos to everyone involved with making that happen.

I personally feel like the interviews could be taken a step further by utilizing video chat via Skype but that's just a suggestion.

Everything else has been pretty awesome so far.

Video chat or call recording is an option I've looked into, but that comes with some more privacy issues which depends on the person.

I like the audio suggestion though, it should be there if the person is willing to do it of course.

Also, why not record some events from Game Nights as well, of course if a person involved is willing to do so, also an archive of video uploads, commentary, records of certain games like high scores, trophies, etc.. should be kept in an archive as well, for showing/bragging rights.

I think we should voice chat with more people more often. A lot of times on Skype I'll be doing other things at the same time, and with voice chat it means I don't have to divert my attention or anything.

Hmm, as an update, hopefully more of the interviews will be recorded over audio.
