I'm wondering if they have the Neo Geo controller there in the image for a reason. It's probably just eye-candy but now I'm wondering if Sakurai's bout to boot up 98 and that's why it's 45 minutes long /s

I'm excited for this! Here are my predictions for the livestream.

• A second trailer for Terry that actually shows off his gameplay. The first one that we saw in September didn't have any gameplay footage aside from his model. I mean, on Joker's page he has his second trailer on there instead of his first.
• Sakurai explains about Fatal Fury and the King of Fighters. From the picture that we see a Neo Geo so I think he'll showcase that in the presentation as well as a bit of eye-candy.
• Obviously Sakurai will demonstrate Terry's moveset. I hope he'll have BUSTAH WULF! as one of his moves (which he will very likely have).
• Sakurai talking about the background SNK characters.
• Of course Mii costumes will be shown off, as well as Amiibos.
• Perhaps we get fighter #5 revealed as well? I mean, we'll have a 45 minute livestream, I think that can happen.
• Maybe more news on the next set of DLC fighters?

I'm gonna have to get up early for this one, as it'll be livestreamed at 7am where I'm at.

Now that I look at it, the Terry showcase is about as long as both Hero's and Banjo's combined. Now why would Sakurai have it at a full hour as opposed to the usual half-hour? Is he packing a whole metric crapton of stuff into 6.0? Is he thinking a whole step ahead and showing content for 7.0, too? Is he revealing the fifth and final fighter in the pass?! Is he showcasing the complete moveset of fifth and final character?!? IS HE- *slap*

Sorry. The length of this showcase has me thinking a lot of this.

I am confused though. I can't tell if it'll just be a straight video showcase like the last three times. If not, then I really want to know where I can watch it so I don't get spoiled, since I go to work when it starts.

Just remember not to expect them to talk about anyone but Terry and it should be alright.

Don't get too excited, Sakurai can and will find ways to fill for time. People thought the Hero presentation would have more too.

If they really mean that then I'm a bit glad. As much as I want to see the next dlc I dont want terry to be overshadowed by another character. Though if it happens it happens I suppose.

Also side note I really hope Terry has this slide into upward kick he has from Real Bout 2, he doesn't have it in like any other game but it's so sick it can combo right into Rising Tackle.

• On the ground: Power Wave
• In the air: Power Dive
• Max Mode: Power Geyser

Am I the only one who thinks Terry might come with a power gauge just like in the later King of Fighters games?

My prediction for Terry's stage: G-mantle randomly appears in the crowd, on the jumbotron, acts as a stage hazard, and cheers for fighters closeby outside of the ring.

Everything is all fun and games until players hear laughter out of nowhere.

Unlike DQ Hero, there aren't many versions of Terry that exist. The only reason why fem!Terry would be passed over is if Sak's knowledge of Fatal Fury and KOF is limited to 1995. Or being super-traditionalist to the point that even Garou Terry isn't in.

This is a good point. Persona is a sub-series of Shin Megami Tensei, yet we only got spirits from the Persona series, specifically Persona 5 (Igor may be an exception as he appeared in other Persona games).

From Fatal Fury, I think the givens are Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, Mai Shiranui, and Geese Howard.

-Relevancy of Fatal Fury leading to Sakurai creating Smash Bros
-Sakurai showing how he tried to map more-accurate control of a Neo Geo joystick to Terry's control. Flick-controls on the joycon stick or something.
-Terry's moveset
-Stage is like Midgar insofar as there will be an item or something you will grab to have a King of Fighters character jump in (like an AT) and briefly help the fighter who grabbed the item
-Available now
-Mii costumes
-Amiibo news (ie: Dark Samus)
-5th fighter will be revealed in December. More info to come.
-More news on season 2 will be revealed in the coming months.

That seems almost certain, the Neo Geo is a console that's totally foreign as far as Smash is concerned. It helps that we saw its fighting game controller in the preview.

Yeah. I think a meter mechanic is a given, honestly. Strikers or some tag team mechanic, well, I wouldn't bet on that. It's very unlikely.

A meter would help Terry to differentiate him more from Ryu and Ken, at least for the people who thinks he will play the same as the latter.
