i called the ala moana gamestop and apparently they arent doing a midnight tournament. I called kahala and hawaii kai and they said they will be having the event. anyone gonna go?

there's a list of all gamestops in hawaii on gamestop.com but i need someone to call and confirm if they are really having a release tournament.

I can make the Kahala one probably. I'd rather go to the Pearl City one but yeah. Whichevers are actually doing it.

I will make some phone calls later this week and I will find out which locations are doing it. Hopefully one gamestop should have the info on all of the stores.

And I agree that people should try go to the one closest to them if possible. For me it would be either Kahala Mall (close to UH) or anything in Aiea/Pearl City.

Just called Kahala Mall. They will be holding a pre release tournament. NO ENTRY FEE. Which means don't expect anything big in terms of prizes. And more importantly expect ALOT and I mean ALOT of people to be there. And expect FFAs up the ***. Since it's a tournament I imagine they will be awarding something to the winner.

Also they told me that Waikele and Ala Moana WILL MOST LIKELY be holding tournaments as well. More editing to come after I call these places.

tom, since you stay home all the time, you should really go find out things for yourself instead of watching asian porn. check out gamestop.com and click on the tournament section.

This isn't Melee champ. And yes it would make sense to believe that they will be all happening on the same night. Btw estimated start time is about 10-11pm.

Any more calls are pointless as stores are just finding out now about this whole thing. I will call them back closer to the release date like at the beginning of March.

Again guys don't expect too much. There isn't even an entry fee meaning it's going to be super crowded.

And yes as Terence said. All of you that are full of questions can always look up info on your own. Personally I don't need to know anything more since I'll be going to Pearl Ridge Mall for sure. I'm gonna get Merc, and possibly my friends Kurt and Jarred to come as well.
