Relax, I'm 100% certain Yoshi shall return to the fray. The only question is when.

But, I am deeply saddened by the loss of Toad. But Mega Man and Sonic have softened that blow, and K. Rool, Bandana Dee and Pac-Man, for sure, would make up for it. I just hope he's in the next installment.

Also, I've been thinking rather long about something for the Graveyard.

It's kind of stupid, but...

Does anybody know the musical Chicago? The Cell Block Tango number? I was possibly thinking of a collab where we take the most popular characters (I'd say Ridley, Palutena, K. Rool, Little Mac, Pac-Man and Mii) and put them into the roles of the inmates and describe the disconfirmations of certain characters like Toad, Skull Kid and such. Then, when there's the scene where ALL the inmates begin to dance, it's all popular or unpopular choices for the game. It'd be a cool reference. Just imagine, as this song is going on, with edited lyrics, as you see Geno, Professor Layton, Medusa, Bandana Dee, Ghirahim and Dixie Kong DANCING together. Bowser Junior and Adeline, pointing brushes at each other. Palutena leading Toad, Duck Hunt Dog, Chrom and the Happy Mask Salesman into a march. Silhouettes of Dr. Kawashima, Pichu, Waluigi and Knuckles dancing in the cells. And, instead of the Russian ballerina scene, it's RIDLEY. SCREECHING lines instead of speaking them in his messed-up dragon tongue. No actual words, just grunts and screams of anger.

I came up with it as I listened to the soundtrack waiting for last night's pic. Thoughts?

This sounds like a neat little idea. The only thing is, I'm not sure if Pac-Man and Mii would be considered the "Most Popular," per say. I'd be glad to help with this though, haha.

The one part, in my opinion, which is weird, is that Yoshi's the only one without mention. Including those already revealed, we've got several leaks focusing on Ness and Jigglypuff's appearances, and Falcon's mention in the recent interview. But, I'm certain we'll see Yoshi in March.

I basically took the NeoGaf leak and the Elite 4 and combined them. They're on mostly every prediction list, the only other "MEGA" popular characters are Roy, Mewtwo, Krystal, Chrom and Dixie.

Ashley was a quite interesting character, I agree. Still, I'm more interested in Jimmy T.'s appearance. I don't know if he were just an Assist Trophy this time or he would get a playable appearance or end up with only having some sort of trophy.
His strange look and the dance moves make him an interesting character after all. We got a fitness trainer, why not a dancer?

I had a feeling Wario would be by himself again. Oh yeah, it was either Ashley or nobody. Ashley is not my most favorite Wario character, but she seems to be everyone else's, at least in Japan. Because of this, she was the character next in line in the Wario series to be playable (along with a moveset potential)

Yeah I like Mona better, and I'd like to see her playable, but I'm putting my preferences aside and being realistic. It was Ashley. She had all the potential. And if she wasn't getting in, then no other Wario character was getting in.

Anime-styled noses are often known for appearing like pencil points at certain angles. That often makes the person look like his/her nose is rather small, until he/she is angled differently.

Sorry to all of the Ashley fans out there. I never expected her to get in, but I'm still sorry to those who wanted her.
She and Syrup seemed like the most likely characters to be a 2nd Wario rep to me. Though, it seems obvious at this point that Wario is going solo.

There is still Mona though (And Jimmy T to some extend and Captain Syrup if Sakurai decides to give Wario Land some love) so no, I don't think we know fully yet if Wario will be the only playable Wario series character in Smash 4 yet. All we know is that Ashley has been disconfirmed.

I think it's safe to say that we'll be seeing at least one new assist trophy a month until the game comes out. I also get the feeling that AT reps from the bigger franchises will be getting replacements. For example, I think Skull Kid has replaced Tingle and Ashley has replaced Kat and Ana. With all this being said, expect a lot of tears in the coming months.

I'm a Mona supporter, but I adore Ashley. Her theme is among my favorite songs in Brawl. Plus, I've always wanted a young girl to counter Ness, Lucas, Toon Link and the other kids. Ashley or Tetra would've filled that void, but, oh well.

I give all of my wishes to the Ashley supporters, but look on the bright side! We're finally getting her 3D model! And she's adorable! Plus, Wario's basically confirmed now, a new Assist Trophy (Ashley and Skull Kid could become huge contenders for the next installment, with the fact they've appeared as Assist Trophies. Look at how much support that's gotten Isaac, Little Mac, Samurai Goroh, Tingle, Saki, Waluigi, a lot of their fanbase agrees it's one step closer to becoming playable. This is different from Toad, who's a move and may never be more than that, Ashley and Skull Kid have the fact they've FOUGHT in a Smash Bros. game in some form. If you can make moves for them as an Assist Trophy, you can make them playable.
