The Game Awards 2024 Nominees Have Been Announced!

Today, we just learned which games were nominated for The Game Awards 2024!

Game of the Year Nominees:

Author’s Note: Gotta say, this year has a solid line-up and I think all the games nominated for Game of the Year truly deserve to be there. My only complaint for this year is that Rivals of Aether II not being nominated for Best Fighting just feels rather silly. Especially when its fellow platfighter MultiVersus is nominated a second time after already winning Best Fighting in 2022. But enough about my thoughts, what do you think? Why is Zelda in best family? Is that just a category they slap any cartoony game into because I can't imagine many people playing the game with their family. It's a single player adventure game

it's a family game because after it chugs down to 30fps, you stop playing it and start spending more time with your family

Best family has always weirdly just kinda been "the Nintendo award"

 

Say what you will about the game but how the hell did Palworld not get nominated for anything. Game went super viral & was enjoyed alot by its community.

Also feel like Arzette was snubbed, particularly in the best art direction category.
