VoiD over MKLeo shouldn't feel like an upset but... considering MKLeo's recent streak of results and how he's positioned himself so quickly as one of the absolute best it feels kind of big that he didn't break into Top 8 this time.

Salem is really well positioned for this Top 8. He could easily reach Winner's Finals at minimum. The only downside is if he does go out against Tsu he's likely to have an early run-in with Ally never mind, read the bracket wrong and it seems like it's most likely to be Dabuz or MKLeo.

Top 8 might not have Bayo in quantity, but....

It's looking like the top 8 is going to pretty diverse, anyway and Salem is already done far better than he has in a major in quite some time too

It looks like there is going to be no Cloud in top 8 either, and I bet no one will be saying that Cloud may be overrated like any time Bayo slightly underperforms

I don't know what you guys are talking about - all the three main DLC threats are present at least once in top 16. And why would it be a big deal if they went out early anyway? It's not like there aren't about 10-15 other competent characters in this game.

Great to know that the 2 best players of this game can make equally impressive losers run. It would be great to see an ally vs Zero Gfs again but i want shuton to win

Tbh, I really want to see Salem do really well here, maybe even win it. I'd actually like to see him defeat ZeRo here, or if tsu pulls it out, beat Ally.

Most people were expecting a top 8 with at least one of the following:
Aba, Zac, Komo, Tweek.
There's literally one dlc main in top 8, you don't see that (or no dlc at all in top 8) a lot.
