Hey guys. I haven't read much of the thread yet but I'm not busy tonight so I might be able to read a good chunk of it tonight. I don't plan on shooting until I've caught up entirely, and I would like to have some other peoples input before I do shoot too. I know you probably already have said somewhere else in the thread where you stand already, but a quick summary would be nice to have for reference.

Sorry incredibly busy with life and things so I'm not really paying attention to this game but I'm glad it's up so we can finish this up so thanks to GLG for replacing in. Lol Roxy for the most part but yeah, I'm down with not having him shoot because iirc, he's the obviest of obv townies and so I say go with Vocal shot.

She actually might be up there with one of the most annoying people i've seen in a reality show. Like when she started crying after last weeks HoH contest I got really excited.
It's a shame she'll probably make it to the final two.

Tbh I was starting to worry about Soup's slot, but when GLG was cleared when he didn't immediately kill someone.
Purple was obviously the kingmaker when I saw that he wasn't King Day 4.
Perhaps I should of took Day 4 more seriously. Meh, don't think this lazy town would of even reed it anyways but it still probably would of been nice if I went into more detail as to why I thought Nabe or J was the last scum.

I was really happy to get scum with Zen before he left and it was cool to see OS as scum a bit. Our overall plan was to kill the strongest players first with the NKs and leave the rest to us just doing things.
So the order went: MS>Duder>Swords but I....uhm....yeah ^^" You know that no NK? I forgot about this game entirely and was wondering why the night phase was so long, apparantly I forgot to send a NK. Woops haha. Oh wellz, glad scum pulled out the win and town didn't win however the biggest threat to us was Swords by far *after his little D1 suspicion faded*.
But yeah this game mostly died and became our win because of the modkills/inactivity and just overall apathy of the players. Guess it was just one of those games.
And now I'm done mafia for a while, yaaaaay for me.

Swords, if Nabe wasn't lynched yesterday and Soupa was instead (hypothetically) it would have been like this lol.

Meh, it was very unlikely that it would go down like though, so could of would of.
Explanation of late game reads:
Purple: Got really lazy in endgame, but still played too obv. town the rest of this game to be scum. Earlier he wasn't playing timid at all which is what I expected out of his scum play. Plus it was obvious he was kingmaker by Day 4 so yeah.
Vocal: Played really gutsy with his push of me Day 1 which I liked. Appeared to be really dumb townie. Also OS's indie push seemed like a forced connection that he was trying to set up. Thought he might of been scum simply due to the fact that he was the most realistic possibility of someone who would forget to kill Day 3. Realized this was total WIFOM though by Day 5, and also realized that under J's circumstances he could of been the one to have done this to.
Soup/GLG: Played very obv. townie until Day 4, when Soup's play went down the pooper. OS's push however appeared to be a scum push on Soup and I simply could not forget that that was one of the main reasons we killed him. Also, of course GLG was cleared by Day 5.
Nabe: Process of elimination. He appeared the least townie by Day 4 and thus I just assumed that everything he did had scum intent behind it.
J: I liked the fact that J faced off against scum earlier in the game, which put him above Vocal on my town list Day 4. However, I realized that it could of all of been a bus. I hated that fact that OS stated scummy stuff about J but still had him at null by the end of Day 1. I also hated the fact that Zen just kind of dropped his case against J Day 1 when he saw he was going to shoot Chibo. Didn't like J's inactivity, and him coming back when his name was put under the limelight proved nothing, as neither did his attacks on scum.
I know J loves to bus, so the simple fact that J was right meant very little to me.

Can't believe I actually put effort into this game to see it end like this.

Soup that shot was disgraceful. Why do people find it necessary to quickshoot in games without deadlines? You didn't even let him claim ffs. You just jumped the gun. Again. Literally every game you do this and its starting to actually piss me off. Play more cool-headed please. Maybe take this time that you're supposedly in a box to fix some of your flaws.
As for the rest of town, I'd like to thank Tom for putting up with the tirade of nonsense that came at us from meadow during D1 when I simply didn't want to. I know you're probably done with mafia but if you're not we should hydra again sometime.
I'd also like to give props to Sworddancer who's reads were spot on, especially after I died. He gave me hope that town could win this posthumously. I remember reading a post where he specifically said that J vs OS could easily be SvS and he was going to look at J after Asdioh. Good **** bro. Next time just don't quickshoot scum even if you know they're scum. You had all the time in the world to talk about who was the last mate while you were alive. I bet fatigue had something to do with it, though.
Side note: Would you be down to hydra ever? I'm really beginning to like your play recently and I think we could mesh well.

Biggest mistake of the game:
Day 1, Sworddancer didn't shoot me, Kuz, or F0. Instead he shot Chibo, which was horrendous. The worst part is, he was still the second best townie this game.

Kuz bulldozing through to an F0 shot.
Didn't matter though. Town was absolutely horrid after Day 2.

This, I think, is correct. Chibo wasn't a BAD shot..... if you like shots in the dark. Yes, there was a chance he was scum, but all you've got is a coin flip.
More or less our plan was to make town ****ty by killing the strong players. It seemed to have worked, although not for reasons of our doing. Good job to J I guess for winning this, but scum should not have won this game. Scum didn't play too cohesively and had a missed NKill XD

@Kuzi and J: Maybe sometime in the future. Two problems though:
1. I'm not going to be playing mafia for awhile.
2. Joey's already my hydra buddy. <3
However, if I'm free to play sometime and Joey's doesn't want to hydra, then I'll be down.
These positive comments on my play is kinda warming me up to mafia again, which was getting a bit stale for me.

Dude, look at what you get out of it at that point in the game. Absolutely nothing. Whereas a shot on me, Kuz, or Overswarm would've made it a hell of a lot different game. Day 2 you went in just as blind as we were Day 1.

My PoV: Chibo's the scummiest, better shoot him.
Obviously what I thought I was going to get out of it was a dead scummie, not "absolutely nothing."
Also I got rid of dead weight to, didn't I?
Pros of Chibo shot to me:
Getting rid of a scum read
Getting rid of dead weight
Cons:
Lack of information from flip
You still think this is the worse mistake? I could point out four things from the top of my head that I consider worse mistakes than the Chibo shot, but I won't because I don't want to put anyone on the spot.

If everyone came into a game like this with those two things in mind then they'd have a pretty good chance against scum. As it is everyone is so caught up in doing things their own way that nothing gets done.

Yes, I do. Chibo was a shot that a weaker player could make. You had the ability to make a much needed shot on a stronger player. You were one of the better players on that list and did NOT need to take the cop-out shot.
Stew and I were literally going to shoot OS in our first post if made king on D1.
