A scrub is one that forces self to follow imaginary rules under the argument of "playing fair" and such.

For example someone that seriously doesn't consider CGs, GRs, edgehogs and such as options.
Basically anyone that calls a legit tactic "gay" can be called a scrub.
Well said.

I see. The reason I asked for the actual definition is because I've seen many people using that word, and I wasn't sure if those persons were using the word correctly or blindly just to insult others.

Merci for the definition ! :awesome:

That's one definition of scrub, but the term that is used often is to describe someone who is bad at a video game or activity in general. Its basically the same thing as calling someone a noob or newb.

Ally has beaten Mew2King like 12 times or more, not sure. But I just know that ally has won the most.

That's not my point, M2k has won a ****load of tournaments in both melee and brawl of all kinds. You should see all the medals he has on his AiB page, that's proof that he's a true pro. And since ally beat him more than he lost to him, that would make him a pro for beating another pro. Makes sense doesn't it?

oooh so thats what a scrub mean, then i´m not one, as the only think i dislike in tourneys is constant spamming, none of you can say that being spammed with pikachu´s thunder or meta knights nado is fun.

I prefer getting Thunder spammed than getting CG'd, but it's your opinion =p

Noob and newb are the same : Newb is the correct spelling out of the two.
No man, noob and newb are not the same. A noob is someone who is bad at a game and refuses to learn/listen to a skilled person because they think they're good and they usually have no hope. They also get extremely mad when they lose and even accuse people of lag boosting and hacking, they always have an excuse because they cannot accept the fact that they suck. And noob can be used as an insult.

Now unlike a noob, newbs or newbies suck at the game as well but they intend to get better by fixing their mistakes and that gives them potential. They do deserve the chance to become a pro one day.

Lol, I am pretty sure they are the same. Also, noob is short for newbie and newbie means that they are new to something (like a game maybe) and usually not very good at it.

wrong :glare:, cuz last time I looked up noob and newb on urban dictionary it said that they are not the same thing and that they are often confused with eachother.

Newb for newbie meaning no experience in game.

I'm seriously starting to believe that the green computer Falcon is what will be the end of everything. My friends and I were having Falcon free for all's, and we were on Frigate. It was down to my friend JT, against the computer. JT was on the right side of Frigate where the platform goes up and down, while the computer was just walking back and forth on the left for about 20 seconds. the platform went to the bottom portion of its cycle, and the computer all of a sudden did a drop zone knee to win the game.

The next thing that happened was me Down-throwing the computer, and me then going in for a knee. Well that computer hit me with his knee first and I lost. But seriously, those computers love to footstool and do these weird acts of walking, then suddenly running back, and walking forward, then jumping backwards while going in the same direction and kneeing me. They love to perfect shield, and grab out of it, and it often makes me mad. This green falcon isn't to be taken lightly.

I have weird feelings about this

PD: http://cawebbonline.blogspot.com.es/2009/09/new-league-of-comic-book-superheroes.html

We all need a Superhero to help us stand strong and make good choices," says LIONMAN founder, Grand Master Eric O'Neal, Sr. "This series of stories will help students strengthen their self-esteem and make appropriate choices in life."

Grand Master Eric O' Neal, Sr. has been an integral presence in martial arts for over 30 years and has been working with the youth of New Orleans for over 20 of those 30 years as a Grand Master of Karate. Raised in the Desire housing project and introduced to martial arts at a young age, Master O' Neal grew up admiring Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris for their outstanding contributions to the world and aspired to be amongst their ranks
Ok he likes chuck norris & bruce lee, i will let him live

lvl 9 CPUs aren't hard to beat because they don't have the intelligence of a human player. If you're playing 2 or 3 CPUs you'll lose every match even if your approaches and defense are good and safe. But to beat 2 or 3 of them you just have to edgehog and attack from below by using U-air or w/e move works best and grab on to the ledge again because CPUs never attempt to fight you offstage. The only thing annoying about lvl 9 CPUs is 1. they're unpredictable, 2. they react if you make any movement and they may punish your moves after, and 3. they're really good at power shielding. But those three things aren't enough to keep you from 3 stocking them, if a human player could do all those 3 things perfectly plus adapting to the opponents play style and being smart. He'll be godlike, no other pro smash player will ever beat him.

THIS.

i´ve fought 3 level 9 falcon cpus before, and it was hard, but with the correct approaches and off stage strategy you can overcome them.

They're only easy to read offstage because they don't mixup their recoveries at all and what makes you think that lvl 1's are better .-.

It really depends on how you train using cpus for me I would go for the brawl basics such as pshield, di, and mobility/dash control.
Also I read cpus period not just offstage PERIOD.
