Top Tier Old Cartoons, in no particular order
Timon and Pumbaa
Animaniacs (probably the best kid cartoon ever made)
Freakazoid
Darkwing Duck
Batman Beyond (I remember being amazed at this show since he actually killed people!)
Beast Wars
Bruno the Kid (Props if anybody remembers this show. Bruce Willis did the voices)
Quack Pack
Big guy and rusty (Most recent. Bobby hill did voiced rusty)

Also I hear The Tick was really funny if you go back and watch it, but I hated it as a kid (Im assuming I didnt get the jokes)

I like how alot old cartoons were genuinely funny, not just little kid funny. The only cartoon I can think of today (not including mature cartoon shows) that is legitimately funny is Spongebob. Obviously I dont watch kid cartoons anymore, but I was seeing the quality drop significantly as I was growing up, so I just assume there are very few left

Hey Arnold

And what the heck at your Ninja Edit (just kidding, not ninja, but still), I was gonna say Big Guy and Rusty also, but then you put it in when I came back, and changed duck tales to quack pack.
I agree with all of those.

i'm the ONLY ONE who likes pete & pete
OH MY GOD LOVAGE YOU'RE AMAZING!!!

I was trying to remember the name of that all of last night!!!
I knew it was, "*Name* & *Same Name*," but I couldn't find it!!! I kept thinking it was like Eric and Eric or something! I have been trying to recall that show for years, literally years!

The one episode that stuck in my head most was the episode with ringing payphone in the middle of nowhere, and like, the guy stuck at the top of a cherry-picker or something, and then their mom, lol.

Sorry if I ruined it for you by liking it too, but thanks for the name drop.

nowadays 90% of cartoons are pretty bad

My favorite is unquestionably Ren and Stimpy, and second is probably Daria, a tragically underappreciated show. Batman: the Animated Series was also high quality. If you've ever seen Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, that was the series on which it was based.

Oh god no, there were some really baaaaaad ****ing cartoons back in the day if you ever got up on saturday morning. Where do I begin. Camp (John) Candy, Hammerman (MC Hammer cartoon), Pro Stars (Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jordan, and Bo Jackson as crime fighters), Captain N, the Legend of Zelda cartoon, the list goes on.

By the way Pete & Pete is amazing.
