Wow! I didn't notice this thread earlier? How droll of me.

Anyway, I really found this especially helpful. I plan to get an HDTV for Brawl. The fact one can go to Best Buy with a Wii in tow makes searching for said TV so much easier. Thanks for the thread. ^ω^

-Once TVs get stronger and stronger processors for upconverting once the price isnt as bad for manufacturing costs, we can have lag free HDTVs.
5 years later, and the HDTV lag situation still hasn't really improved :(

wow, old post is old post

well, Panasonics ST50 (european models) seems to have the 16 ms, same as the ST30, while the GT models seems to lag more because of improved "insert complicated terms here" , this excludes upscaling

read some threads and this waveboy from avforums hunted down an US ST30 instead of ST50, you can google all that, there was apparently a difference between US and European models
