Clannad After Story is one of the greats of anime imo. #1 on MAL right now doesn't lie. It's in my top 3 as well.

I'm ordering the DVD's of AS soon too. Already got the first season in the mail. Probably watch it again over the christmas holidays since I'll have extra days off

I haven't played any VN's either but if I did, it would most likely be Clannad.

Kanon is awesome. You'll definitely like it if you liked Clannad (but most people would say Clannad is better, although maybe only slightly). It's in my top-10 for sure. I rated it a 9 on MAL, but it's a really high-9; I might even bump it up to a 10 one of these days.

Couldn't get into the Pandora Hearts anime. I like Alice, I mean the manga though.

Volume 1 did not leave the same impression on me compared to Haruhi and Shana.

I follow only the manga, but my brother says the filler's pretty good. Probably better than what's going on in the manga now.
Kubo Tite needs to right better.

Speaking of butlers, I'm like 100 chapters into Hayate now. Way better than the anime by far, though I keep "hearing" the voices from the show in my head anyway.

Oh, and I finished up Dennou Coil today. GREAT show, both in premise and execution.
