What's so good about The Melachony of Haruhi Suzumiya? I never did get into it. I honestly don't get the hype that it gets. I read it and needless to say. I've read WAY BETTER manga than that piece of garbage. The anime is garbage as well. Seriously people. What is so good about that piece of ****!?:mad::mad::mad::mad:
As PC said, it's just a matter of taste. Personally, I like Haruhi because of the characters and the style of writing. Being able to relate and sympathize with Kyon by reading and listening to his narrating and monologues is my favorite part of the writing and its stories.
If you don't like the characters, then not liking the story is pretty natural.

Anime/light novels/manga always cater to a certain demographic. If it's popular, it'll pretty much be popular only to its target audience.
You can't expect a story to satisfy everyone.

Just wonderin if anyone else in here is actually watching the new InuYasha too or is it just me?

Needless to say it's like 5 times better then I ever could have imagined. Every episode is so action packed with story compared to the old show. It's like a blessing from the anime gods (or god however you wanna look at it ;))

Mazui's usually pretty quick with Railgun so I'll probably watch it tomorrow after work. It's been kinda dull lately (lack of yuri does this) but hopefully it starts up again.

Fixed. ;P

Though Endless Eight was crap, the rest of Haruhi is awesome, even episode zero in my opinion.
I guess that makes since. =P

Also true.

I'm currently watching it, sad to see it's going to be short, but at least it's much much better. But it's sad to see some of the important characters die, (sigh Kanna T_T), and what you say is true. =3

i just finished nogizaka haruka no himitsu.

But it has Alistia Rein and she's awesome. )=

Changes? Like those playground "scenes" you told me about?

I haven't watched much anime aside from FMA and Seitokai lately.
I gotta start on some anime that I've been putting off.
I'll probably watch Railgun soon.

I fell off Brotherhood, I just got swamped with school/work. Is it great? I might download it all before I leave for the Carribean.

Do any of you play BlazBlue? I just started playing again recently and I finally watched gameplay of the new came coming to the states. So sexy.

New FMA's great. I'm an FMA fan, so yeah. While it does follow the manga this time, there are some cons compared to the first season.

And yeah, I play(ed) BlazBlue. I got it for PS3.
Vampire Loli's my main.

I'd say just take your time. No need to rush through it really.
But yeah, Brotherhood is worth watching.

Literally went from absolute best to absolute worst. Now, she even has a huge gap between her and the second worse character, according to a recent tier debate that I've seen.

What con's Minato? Personally I say it's better than the old one in every way. Music, story, character personalities, just everything.

I use teh Noel (Kondomu).

I had it for 360, but it got a RROD after not playing it for like... 2 months?

So I'm getting it for PS3 soon, loli. and Noel got nerfed from average to less than average. For what reason, I dunno, but now, her combos are really creative-looking xD

I've been watching Seitokai too x_x

It's almost over...

NKB! Be warned, though! The main character in the VN version looks like a bug...

But yeah, the anime is AMAZING!! (I've been using that word a lot, lately.) Clannad's probably in my top-3. Minato rates Toradora as 3rd, and Clannad as 6th, FYI.

XD Just more so in the VN.
NKB, FYI...
Steel is our resident Nagisa HATER!
ScumFever is the one with weird tastes and chooses Ryou over Kyou. Giving Viper's recent post as a reason, why would anyone choose Ryou?!?!

Even though I do follow the manga, I prefer the first series's art style.
Also, I liked the original VAs for the first one. I liked Mustang's, Hawkeye's, and Scar's old VAs more than Brotherhood.

Of course, this is just my opinion. I love Brotherhood more than the first series obviously.

Where may I obtain a the VN? Purchasing, Torrent? To be honest, I've never played a VN.
For shame. My first text based game was Radical Dreamers. Played that in elementary school.
