I have Naruto to blame for people not liking anime very much. ;p

I only watch anime because looking at the manga then the anime next would make me bored of the anime like almost all my friends that look at manga.

i usually like reading manga more cause no fillers and it is how he story was intended to bemost of the time
except if it is like an anime first then the manga which is rare but it happens
plus there are really good manga that have not been animated yet or might not be
i like watching anime mostly cause its animated and you hear voices lol

That's only true of people who have no love for good fight sequences. I watch the anime fights, but that's it. The story tends to lose a lot in the transition; the timing of specific words and phrases across pages (i.e. behind the next page, creates shock value), the way the lighting is done in the picture, specific poses... All that's gained is more fluid action. If I have a choice, I'll always take the manga.
