I'm hoping that they'll make plenty of things destructible, but withing reason. I want to be able to bust the cap off of a fire hydrant and shatter a few windows.
Krystalnacht?

I would like to jump through some glass.

Like that guy except in the conduit.
Hopefully by polish they mean add destructable environments, cause in the 35 second footage, the player shot one bullet into a window, it left a mark, but no shatter...:(.

I heard the physics engine isn't much so I doubt they're going to do much with destructible environments.

And CK...

I don't mind that you're being weary of this game, but it feels a bit like you're coming into this thread to try to bring everybody else down rather than try to support our speculation. I agree that talking about costume cusotmization was a bit... strange... but threatining to close a thread about the game when they were still talking about the game is a little much.
See, I don't mind that Crimson King is in here doing what he just did. I fully support it. Johnthegalactic and Darkslash seem to post whenever they can in here. When I look at the post break down and see Darkslash has 55 posts in here, and Johnthegalactic has 45, both of which are much higher than anyone else (aside from yourself, sitting at a cool 30). The way it's looking right now, it's only a matter of time before this thread is closed.

And I don't mean to break your balls, but destructible environments would've been added in early in development if they were going to be included. It's a lot more difficult to code destructible environments and they'd have to redo nearly the entire engine to add them in, so everything you've seen up to now would've just been a big waste of time.

Why would you close a thread because people are posting on-topic in it? Seriously?

But, destructible environments... Yeah, unless they've been keeping a huge secret that seems like a terrible lot to add this late in development. I don't think the game would've needed it (I've personally never enjoyed a game with destructible environments any more than a game without them), though it would have been neat.

Destructible Environments aren't a major deciding factor on how good a game is to me. They're always fun to have though. But who knows? They may just not have shown it yet (accidental or not) so we may have that in the end game.

Jesus christ, the game is getting destroyed by this thread. Both by people arguing for it and against it. Wait until someone's actually gone HANDS-ON (AKA someone at E3) before you get into extensive arguments about the aiming/control customization. From that one video, you can't tell jack ****, because that could be the smallest dead-zone/bounding box they have, and it could be largest. If it's the smallest, the aiming sucks, and they apparently mistakenly thought Ubi**** had a good idea when they made Red Steel's aiming. If it's the largest, it's for people who are ridiculously casual and just want to aim freely on screen, and their smallest may be very tight like MP3 or MoHH2.

Personally I think CK should close the thread until after E3 and reporters can give hands on impressions. I don't want to hear that the DEVELOPER is saying the games going to be awesome, no dev is going to say "Well, our game is going to be mediocre. But you should still buy it". I want to hear an OBJECTIVE player saying what they think of the game, and whether there really is tons of control customization/tight aiming. Until then, most of this thread is garbage.

I like this idea so much we're going to do it. Only this topic won't be reopened. It's beyond repair. A new thread will be created, it will be organized better and it will be less spammy.

Good call ChRed.
