What? No. Defragging reorganizes your data virtually so that when your computer (or in my case, my Wii) can read the data quicker and more efficiently... or that's the theory. Formatting does something completely different and it deletes everything in the process.

Anyways, the defrag worked so, yay.

if, over time this keeps happening, back up everything in your SD card and then format it. I eventually had to. 2GB of brawl is not easy on a piece of plastic.

The disk defragmenter in Vista only lets you choose hard drives. I had to download a defragmenter online in order for me to be able to defragment my SD card.
