I have an ISO full of songs I dislike, is there a file that holds all the music that I can replace?

You will have to replace the .Bstrm's individually on the ISO. There is a Key that shows which ID no. is which song on the first page of this thread.

The youtube2brstm program is not working for me. Double-clicking brstmmake.exe only opens a command prompt for half of a second which reads "No file selected"; dragging an mp3 file onto it does the same thing only the prompt reads "Could not open <file name>.wav". Nothing happens after that.

Hi guys. Sorry it's been a while, but I have finally converted all of your songs to mp3s and would like to have them to you by Friday of this week. I've been putting this off for a while, admittedly, and I'm sorry I wasn't more on top of things with your requests. I will keep you posted on the status of them and you will get your songs, I promise.

As for a few lingering questions with regards to the BRSTM program that's in the OP: It's outdated, it's not going to be updated, and I've never used it myself because I have a much different method for making BRSTMs. I aim to have a guided tutorial with pics/possibly a video by the end of the summer, and hopefully some of you can follow it decently and learn to make seamless BRSTMs yourselves. With custom music now a thing in the Wii U version, hopefully even more people can be exposed to custom music and the joy of hearing your own songs play while you're Smashing with friends.

Thank you for work kind sir. I need a new method of updating and looping brstms, so I will be looking for your tutorial as TKbreezy's is somewhat outdated. I was using this song as a test, and I think it will be a successful one.

Great to hear they are coming through. Thank you good sir. And Dang custom music for the wii u version? Where can I go to do that becuase I have been dying to get my epic music on the Wii U version as well. Got any links or know anyone making custom music for the Wii U? Or can you do it too? Please inform me more, I'm very interested in this.

I think he was referring to the fact that somebody managed to hack music into the 3ds version, but the details are undisclosed.

Yes, I'm wondering too. I'd also like to know if it is particularly more easy or difficult to get music from games that can only be downloaded (like the Light Trax game I suggested) just out of curiosity.

Just drag and drop. Project M already has the tools to use custom music installed right out of the box. I use it all the time for Netplay, Wiimfii, and solo play. Works great.

I wonder who knows the answer to this... so, just curiously, what does this mean:

I recently hacked my 3DS so that I can basically dump games and get all of the files from them. I found the music files in my Omega Ruby game, and, naturally, they were in .BCSTM format. However, I decided to compare the file sizes of the ones that I download directly from the BrawlCustomMusic site to the ones that I actually obtained directly from the game. Interestingly, I found that the ones that I ripped for the game were around 200 bytes more in size than the ones from BrawlCustomMusic. An example can be seen here:

BrawlCustomMusic is on the left while the one that I obtained directly from the game is on the right. So, curiously, what do those extra bytes mean? Does anybody know?

I just noticed that they're the "Same Size on Disk." Maybe that will help somebody come up with an answer.
