Someone should make the mp3 into wav and edit the wav on brawlbox...

Hi I really need help. I tried making a looping version of caramelldansen for brawl (I made it loop in a awesome way) But for some reason brawl never let the song finish... It made it stop in the middle and kept making weird sounds...
So instead than making it I want some one else to do it

How I want it to loop is by erasing the intro and skipping it directly to the long beep that separates the intro and the song, and it needs to end at the last time it says caramelldansen(right before the song ends)

This man speaks the truth on both counts, though I use Dantarion's BCSM GUI.
It takes more types of files, though it's a bit harder to use.

Agreed, I'd know since I suppose I'm still a newbie. Only thing to keep in mind is that BrawlBox usually makes the songs much quieter when converting them, so it's best to amplify them first.

Erm, doesn't Goldwave have a tool that lets your increase the volume? I'm not exactly sure.

The "Maximize Volume" tool you refer to only amplifies songs with less than 1 DB as their maximum, and does no action to any other mp3's. I use that on all brstm's I've done since the last batch of requests.

@sharigan77...it may be a random number to you, but it's my favorite number. PM me if you wanna know why

Do you use Audacity to adjust the volume of the .mp3 and convert it to .wav, open it in Brawlbox, loop it and convert to .brstm?

I do all my looping and volume adjusting in Audacity (plus convert the .mp3 to .wav), and I do final looping edits and convert the .wav into a .brstm in BrawlBox.

In goldwave, when I amplify songs, I tend to use the "change volume" tool instead of maximize volume, never saw an effect from the latter.
I try to get the medium peaks near the edges of the display, if you get what I mean...
Usually only takes a 1.5 or 2.0 multiplier.
