Hey GaW players, what's up.

As you may have seen on other character forums, people have established clans for that specific character. Well, that is what I'm doing here, just a little bit different.

The Breakfast Club (if you didn't know, I took the name from GaW's frying pan ), is a group of people who play as Mr. Game and Watch. Whether you be competitive or just like playing around with friend and family, then this is the place to be.
In this thread I will list everyone who's willings friend codes, so that it is easier to find matches, as well as GaW dittos. As well as each member's region, so others can be informed of upcoming tournaments and events in their area.

If mods allow, this thread can also be used for short, general questions about GaW that don't need their own thread, as well as tips for beginners.

But i'm making, or planning on making, a video guide for G&W. I'll have videos for stuff like how to edgeguard, neat tricks dealing with walls and terrains maybe, a thing on his specials, and whatever else I can think of later. From what people tell me, the quality of my videos are pretty sick, so you can expect them to be rather clear.

Due to me having some free time, and a desire to contribuite in this unique clan, I have taken the liberty to do some research on our LCD friend..
This is what I found:

The Game & Watch (ゲーム＆ウオッチ, Game & Watch?) (G&W) series were handheld electronic games made by Nintendo and created by its game designer Gunpei Yokoi from 1980 to 1991. Most featured a single game that could be played on an LCD screen, in addition to a clock and an alarm. Most titles had a 'GAME A' and a 'GAME B' button. Game B is usually a faster, more difficult version of game A. The game Squish is a notable exception; here game B is very different from game A. Manhole is another exception in that Game B is a 2 player version of Game A, rather than it being noticeably faster or more difficult. Climber is an example of a game that does not have a 'GAME B' option.

The units used LR4x/SR4x "button-cell" batteries, the same type used in most laser pointer devices. There are variations in height for button cell batteries, and the G&W units used the shorter height variety. Specifically, they were packaged with Maxell LR43 batteries.

Some of the titles available in Game & Watch format were games varying from Mickey Mouse to Balloon Fight as well as several Nintendo staples such as Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda and Mario Bros.. For a more complete list, see the list of Game & Watch games.

Different models were manufactured, with some consoles having two screens (the Multiscreen Series) and a clam-shell design. The Nintendo DS later reused this design.


Origin
Gunpei Yokoi, travelling on a Bullet Train, saw a bored businessman playing with an LCD calculator by pressing the buttons. Yokoi then thought of the idea for a mini gaming machine that doubles as a watch for watching and killing time.


Mr. Game & Watch

Mr. Game & Watch, as he appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.Mr. Game & Watch (Mr.ゲーム＆ウォッチ, Misutā Gēmu ando Wotchi?) is the mascot of the Game & Watch series, following his appearance in the 2001 video game Super Smash Bros. Melee, although he was first seen in the Game & Watch series. Usually, Mr. Game & Watch does not speak in the games that he is featured in.


Appearances in Games

In addition to Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mr. Game and Watch has also appeared in the sequel, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In both games, the character's special abilities include attacks derived from various aspects of the Game & Watch series (such as turning into the octopus seen in the game Octopus). Later, he appeared in Game & Watch Gallery 4 as the manager of the "classic games" area alongside Mario, where he was able to speak, unlike in previous games he has been featured. Mr. Game & Watch appears in several games in the WarioWare series, along with several other characters that bear a strong artistic similarity to him also, usually as a brief cameo appearance.

Hey Daytime, how exactly can I help?

I was going to make some instructional videos, but I really cant decide what to make. Either I try broad topics, like edge guarding or tips on dealing with projectile users, or something like a showcase of his moves. Maybe a whole thing dedicated to the bucket, and another to the hammers. Some wouldn't be helpful, like the Ftilt, but I can see things like the Dtilt getting a lot of stuff.

I'm more inclined to do the first of the two, but I'd love to hear everyone else's opinion

It probably means that your friend hasn't added you, and it is waiting for the confirmation that your friend did add you. This can also happen if they have added you, it just takes some time to confirm that both you and your friend have added each other's Friend Codes.
