Nah that was only 3.2k dmg. I'm sure they'll find loops for her like they did in CT but that seems like it will be her midscreen BnB.
How good is Taokaka, also i have interest in Litchi. If everyone plays BB (which they do) i might play it abit alongside SF4

Taokaka?

Her taunt is now a huge part of her combos. She has 6k-7k taunt combo loops. It's apparently not that hard to do in actual matches. Definitely way better than the first game.

Litchi is supposedly top tier along with Bang. She's still the same ridiculous mixup godly oki **** with big ****.

Everytime i watch a video i love the faster paced style of game, and the rushdown options. When Tao wasnt comboing litchi but trying to land a hit, thats the **** i like.

But im not doing the same 3-4 buttons for loop combos, so nvm bb.

Well then play Litchie.

I don't see why it matters, its a combo, they are all boring to watch unless you are watching them to learn he combos.

Has anoyone noticed the amount of utter ***-kicking in the CS vids? I mean, it's a new game and there's going to be people who are unfamiliar with the game playing against people who are familiar with it, but even in some of the tournament videos, I don't think I've ever seen so many perfects or near-perfects.

**** I just played a beast Tager on XBL. I think he was better than you, Daysoo.

IB Hell's Fang > 720
IB Gauntlet Hades > 720

He's pretty good, I thought. But I've seen those before.

Then he IB jab and 720'd while the Ragna was trying to do his overhead. He was playing on stick, too so real 720s.

I've never claimed to be a player of any real repute with Tager.
I think I'm a halfway decent player in the GA community, but only because it's so small and relatively inactive.
I'm working on incorporating more IB 720s into my game, and I've been thinking about jab buffered 720s since I saw that video I posted recently.
There are a lot of good players out there, DC.
It's just a matter of finding them.

Oh, and I reiterate:
Who's going to Augusta SUPER 2?
We've got peeps from SC coming already.
Would Florida like to come? :3

Seems like once the momentum is in your favor, its hard to reverse that =\

Updated for Continuum Shift.
I'm surprised no one has tried ending the taunt loop in a super.
I wonder if it works... :o
None of Tao's supers can be done in the air, and I think you get more damage from the air combo than you would from IBTCOY. Hexa-Edge is pretty much only used in short ground strings and as a reversal. ABT is silly, and has its own taunt combo.

It'd be hilarious to see it done into an Astral Heat, if it's possible.

I was reading the Litchi CS thread yesterday, and it's pretty funny to see people griping about the fact that she's top tier now because they're afraid that tier whores will migrate to her. They apparently are missing the fact that their favorite character is now awesome.

I guess I can relate; I used to feel a certain sense of pride for being one of the relatively few IC mains. But that faded when I realized that being a rare main doesn't mean much if you're not winning.

Hexa-Edge would hit because it has a stupid hitbox just like Carnage Scissors.

EDIT: HOLY **** I CAN INSTANT BLOCK SLEDGE AND PUNISH

If you can do Drive -> Taunt, why not end with Drive -> Super?
Unless Drive -> Taunt is a special link or something.

Well from what I've read, taunting resets the proration, so the air combo after the taunt probably does more damage than a super.

It's not quite so extreme. The deal is that where most moves have negative proration (they cause damage and stun to decrease), taunt has positive proration.

Still, I don't know what the damage differences would be. Hexa-Edge has a good first hitbox, but later hitboxes are unreliable, and if you don't hit properly at the beginning, it can be problematic. IBTCOY does a lot of damage, I just don't know if it would hit.

lol She can apparently get 14 taunts off a 2c counterhit.

And what the hell... they got rid of the Jin color for Ragna and the Ragna color for Jin. Random... they have similar colors but it's not the same...
