Espy, if your campus is anything like mine, they manually make exceptions for game systems by whitelisting the MAC address of the console. Go talk to your campus' tech support, they should be able to help you out.

Maybe the people who you see use sticks should stop making them out of construction paper.
As snarky as Gates can be, I'mma have to quote him on this one and agree. Custom sticks are usually top-notch stuff, and nothing but the best parts should be put into them. Mad Catz simply does not count as good stuff.

They require maintenance, sure, but you could easily say the same for controllers too. I know plenty of people that are retentive enough to actually take their **** apart and clean it. This is especially true with Smash players.

Mad Catz?

I'm pretty sure the material I see on the sticks that break are pretty costly. The money is what everyone *****es about when the sticks do break.

I doubt they'd ***** if it was MadCatz.
In fact, if they own a stick, I'd ride the fact that they're smart enough to know that MadCatz materials are garbage.

SC, we have to play sometime. >:3

edit: Werekill, let's learn how to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iZrTfE8h6w&feature=search

So cool. T_T
Awesome! I might try to learn that after I finish working on basic combos.

No comments on the final stick art? D:

I'm open to suggestions before I actually submit it and such.
I don't like the red hazama, but that's just me.

Sticks do not break easily.

^This this this this.

Madcatz parts break really, really easily, lol. I got mine a month ago, and it was already starting to mess up before I put in a better stick.

Edit: Oh, and they probably had some generic american parts in their sticks, espy. I doubt that Sanwa parts will break really easily, and besides that, they aren't THAT expensive.

It's not as costly as, say, a computer part though. XD It's just like anything else that needs upgraded or maintained. Only...cheaper.

And (shocker) I'm going to have to lean your way a bit on you galvanizing your buddies' smarts. I think gamers of all stripes hate Mad Catz peripherals with a fiery passion. Lord knows I do. So, they probably don't use Mad Catz sticks.

Whatever works.

Sticks are still silly as hell.
Like carrying around a little desk everywhere you go.

I hate stick with a burning passion.
It's why I despised playing games at arcades.

Sticks are ****ing stupid.

Aren't Sonic mains notorious trolls?

MadCatz makes ****ty products in general but their sticks are decent. I'd never buy anything else from them though.

Is that a That's What She Said! moment?
I don't know why she would say that unless she was into small guys.

The Madcatz sticks that look like this are very good: http://www.madcatz.com/productinfo....696&GSCat=97&CategoryImg=Xbox_360_Controllers

Pretty much all their other products suck. They have another fight stick which you usually find at Fry's or whatnot. It's white and has a little slant in the front. These sticks break and people that use them in tournaments have usually switched out the buttons and sometimes the stick too. If you can do that then it's a decent stick.

you know why those sticks are good because they are japanese parts and they dont break that easily becasue those parts are meant to endure any kinds of arcade people that usually play :O so they get alot of abuse making the parts VERY durable

Well not just Japanese parts but Sanwa parts, which are generally considered to be the best quailty parts you can get. Opinions vary on parts based on personal preference, of course.

They got a guy from the SRK community to design the sticks. That's why they finally got something right.

I actualy like Semitsu over Sanwa. I like the resistance they offer.

Both are high quality though.

I like the sensitivity of Sanwa buttons over Seimitsu. They also come in more colours. :bee:

edit: That and I'm tired of seeing clear buttons everywhere. They don't look that good.

Well, it really depends on the art. The driph guide guy (I can't link it because I'm on my iPod) did his really well, but I've seen a lot of crappy ones where it didn't fit the art at all. x_x

Oh, and sanwa buttons are better anyway.

**** Espy, I didn't realize how much usomad about sticks. :p
You said it best though, whatever works.

Also, I'm new to this Blaz thread, so I figured I'd just post it here: PSN is Maaaaaaaaan-
(9 a's, and a hyphen at the end.)

Main Tager, Sub Makoto's furry ***... Blah Blah, who cares?

If anybody's up for games, just message me on PSN, and I'll play if I'm free.

I don't want to touch BBCS's online if I can help it. ASW needs to patch it because of the lag and random disconnects. I haven't played BBCS in awhile since I lag with so many players here. I should give it another go just in case if online got better or something.

Do you play SSFIV? I thought I saw that PSN ID before, maybe I'm mistaken.
I'll add you when I get on my PS3 later today.

I tolerate SSFIV. lol

It's not as much fun, in my opinion, and I'd have to dust it off, but I'm down to play it, sure.
I guess I main Ken in SF, but 'Gief is my fave.

(Yay! Grapple characters! I'm such a fighting noob. XD)

Nah, I'll play you at BBCS since you prefer it. I like a lot of fighting games anyway.
I wasn't suggesting that we should play SSFIV. I just felt that I recognized your PSN ID somewhere before is all.

Uuugh.

Challenge 7 for Ragna is really pissing me off. I find it hard to use Inferno Divider to the right, and when I try to follow up 5B > 6A to my high jump cancel to a j.C, I end up using Inferno Divider again for some reason. lol

I'll try again later. I was starting to get a headache. x_x

I still need to finish BB's story lol. It's hard to finish the ones with characters I'm not interested in. I did some of the challenges. I haven't done Ragna's last one for some odd reason. I finished all of Makoto's though.

I 100%'d everyone's story on Hell Mode. First thing I did when I got the game.

I only knew how to play as Tao and Tager.
Playing against Nu with Arakune and against Unl. Tsubaki with C & D-less Jin were fun.

Yeah...fun.
