Litchi's Japanese voice actress is great as are many other seiyuu in their line of work. But it sounds too...idk. Too sexy? I like her english voice better, personally.
I liked it better, but they re-recorded some parts of it, specifically when she attacks. She sounds like a banshee now. I had to switch to the Japanese voices, which is a shame because I really liked the English ones.

Also, after playing with Minato, I now know that for me, pad is the best way to go in BlazBlue. I was fumbling all over myself in our early matches when I was using my stick, and once I switched it felt so much better.

I wanted to keep playing Minato, but my son walked in, and I knew he wouldn't go back to sleep as long as I was playing.

Stick takes practice, but things get so precise on that. I know that the PS3 pad is pretty good for fighting games too. I ain't giving up on using the stick. Gonna get beastly at it, I hope.

As for Litchi...the banshee thing... I'm assuming it's because of trying to sound like the Japanese with the sexy "Iyaaaa~n!" cries when she gets hurt? XD Either way, oh well.

Ragna will always sound epic.

GGs. Rachel's probably my best still and I'm more comfortable using Tsubaki more than Ragna. There were a lot of times where I kept doing BBCT stuff with Rachel and they just wouldn't work lol. I got a lot of her new combos down, I just need to not drop them.

I did one ranked match afterwards. It was against a Bang. I surprisingly won.
I pretty much had no health at the end of each round that I won in.

For some odd reason Bang's 5C overhead looked slower to me than it was in CT.
Or maybe I'm just getting better with my reactions.

Oh god, it took me like 30 minutes to beat him with Ragna. >_<
Yeah, it took me 3 tries to beat him playing on Easy. You're talking about the Story Mode battle right? Where your drive is disabled? That was hard as hell for me. I don't know **** about playing Ragna, so I mostly just spam links to drives, but without that I had nothing lol. I had to actually, like, try.

Also my hands were cold, my stick wasn't working, I couldn't see the TV screen, I climbed a mountain yesterday, etc.

It works depending on which character you fight against. If the patch fixes this, woot.
Patch isn't for 6 months.

BlazBlue is actually fairly easy to play on a pad, more so than SF imo. The fact that there's only 4 buttons instead of 6 helps.

So Lambda's trials are making me feel bad. I'm ****ing up the ones that were combos Nu had in CT. It took me a long time go get down the 6A j.C j.2C dj.C j.2C 214D combo (mostly because I ended up dropping it somewhere towards the end) and now I'm stuck on the 6DD 2DD j.DD dj.2DD 214D combo. Apparently I suck at jump canceling into j.2C. Oh well, I'll just practice it a ton more I guess.

So just to be clear, there's no DLC out yet of any kind for this game right? I didn't see any on PSN.

Also, THERE'S A SEASON 2 OF TEACH ME MISS LITCHI **** YEAH. And no I'm not talking about Teach Me Dr. Kokonoe.

I already gave you a response, and I was being completely serious. If you don't know about the changes made from CT Arakune to CS Arakune, I suggest you go to Dustloop, and start reading, because that strategy WILL NOT WORK IN CS.
*facepalm*
What about my post suggested that I cared at all about CS. It won't come out on the PSP for months, so until then I am still playing CT.

Your response is the equivalent of me going onto the Melee Pikachu boards and telling everyone to go play Brawl Pikachu.

God, why did I buy the Japanese version? I can't even make proper player matches. FFFUUUUUUUUUUUU.
Luckily August 5th isn't too far away. You'll be able to get some (more) practice in before the patch comes out.

GrimTuesday, go check out Dustloop still. They have older threads based on BBCT info there.

I'll probably have to, because apparently, I can't play online with North American players unless they also have the Japanese copy. Japanese players are too laggy, and Europeans can't block.

I guess I'll have to see if they have it at the store tomorrow on the way to work. T_T
You just need to wait till JP get's the 1.01 patch, no need to spend extra money.

I completely forgot about the patch. -_-

Don't mind me.

edit: So, I checked it out, and it looks like the DLC patch is for 360 only. Maybe it automatically updates for PS3?

Time to go hunting! Hopefully I'll be online with you cool cats in a few hours.

Edit: Gaaaaaaah, I called around, and none of the EB's here have it. It didn't show up on their shipping manifest, so it won't be in today. **** MY LIFE.

Yeah, I think I'm going to go with Tao. If I can learn to use her drive properly, I'll be messing with minds as much as I do with Fuerte.

...You can change the difficulty to easy in Story mode? I've been playing on Normal or Hard the whole time... :urg:

The story fights are mostly pathetic, but Unlimited Hazama was a pain in the ***.

Well, hopefully you'll find that "magic."

Personally, I love the game, but I can see how it might not be as good for some people.

Arakune is fun, by the way.

Is there a site that's like the "SWF" of BlazBlue? P: I don't have any fancy systems, but I have BlazBlue for my PSP so I wanted to play it with my friend, maybe, lol.

I think I'm going to try and spend some of the day doing story mode for now.

Gotta unlock Dat ***.

Plus I want to practice more on my own. I've been improving more than yesterday's matches, IMO.

I feel the exact same way. BB is fun, but I don't have that same feeling I do when I play Guilty. I didn't even finish story mode in CT until this month since I wanted to understand the story for CS. The only thing that got me staying with BBCT was Rachel.

I think the reason why I liked Guilty more was that it was a great mix in different styles from existing fighting games. The amount of spacing and such reminded me of Street Fighter, but it allowed you to free that restriction if you know what you're doing by FRCs and etc.

I am liking BBCS more than CT though. And waiting for that balance patch will probably what'll make me play CS longer than I originally plan to.

Yeah, that's a good way to put it about GG's mix in styles.

But in the time since I wrote that blog, I've thought to myself, "You know, I haven't given CS a fair chance." Argh, can't make up my mind!

In any case, I'll be online tonight for matches if anyone's interested. My wife is stuck doing math all night.

Sad you have to pay for a better narrator. )=

Oh well, I'll most likely get Jin narrator for now. I wonder if a Tager narrator is coming out, (looks at SSF4 narrator)? =P

My guess is that she'll be available for download the next time PSN updates.

She also has an infinite like Fuerte (the taunt loop).
