Haha, does anyone even use those Wiimote Jackets anymore? I had mine on for a month or so, then one of my friends pointed out that they were kind of stupid, at which point I realized that they were indeed stupid, took them off, and haven't used them since.

I mean, they're really only for idiots who can't hold onto a controller. The only time I've ever dropped a controller is when trying to pass it to a friend during one of my multiplayer games where you use one controller (since I had no second Wiimote at the time; this was fairly shortly after release and there was still a Wiimote drought) like Wii Sports bowling or WarioWare. I forget which one it was.

I don't use the wrist strap either. Actually, it would be interesting to see how many people use neither/both/either of those two.

Well yeah, that makes sense. Those kind of precautions make sense for kids, I just don't see why they had to do it mostly for the adults. They even had to strengthen the wrist straps because these same adults thought that the little mini-string that used to be the wrist strap was going to hold up with them letting go of the Wiimote after they swung in baseball/bowling/golf/what have you.

And yeah, the PS3 is the only console that I haven't (or at least I don't think I have) heard stories about how easily it breaks.

I've actually witnessed a red ring, which was actually kind of cool/funny. Mostly because I had just mentioned it as a solution to my friend who got permabanned from Live for modding (and pirating games for) his 360 and wanted to break his Xbox enough to get a new one.
