I think the infractions were overreacting seeing as the only really iffy thing about the picture posted was that the fanfiction had lesbian kissing, but even that was more funny in the implications of anatomy than it was NWS. But I understand the bans for what happened after.

Locking a thread isn't gonna solve any problem. >_> It's definitely not like jack / dan / luke / shiro have made new accounts and are able to make new threads and spam in them...or spam in other threads
For the record, I locked the alberta thread because everyone started getting out of hand and I needed to stop any new posts from happening so I could edit out and infract that ones already posted. That, and I had a lot of work to do last night (and from now on cause of midterms) so I wanted to lock the thread so I could get some work done and not worry about it. As such, I got other mods to cover for me. Mods who are much less lenient that me. Everyone picked the wrong time to start trolling.
At which point we will ban them again and if needed, go further.
This is what forum support is for. Don't agree with something a mod has done? Post in there and let the admins check it out.

Alright, this is kind of stupid. If I get banned for clearing this up and the blame's put on the right people, than to hell with it. Punishment was misplaced.
KillL0ck posted the picture of trolling the fanfiction with an Alien reference. Funny, and the only NSFW factor about it was simply WRITING about two women kissing. Frankly, it wasn't even smut. If he was trolling on a smut part of a roleplaying thread, than sure, give him the proper infraction because no pornography of any kind allowed, yeah? But no.
We have talked about a lot of improper and unrelated things in the Alberta Thread, which is what its commonly used for. To hang out and show random crap that's within the rules of the Smashboards. We don't even get post counts from it. The only reason that Victra came down on KillL0ck the way he did was because Alphicans would keep reporting him left, right, and center. He wants to get Victra in trouble as a Mod. So to make it seem like he was gonna be more enforceful, he saw KillL0ck's one post. One little post, and he edited it, and infracted KillL0ck for 3 Points for Major Spam.

Victra even said that it was only a minor thing, and that he did it so that he would be doing his modly duty, rather than have Alphicans constantly reporting him and, frankly, whether Victra is doing a good job or not, being unnecessary. So Luke, if you read this too, cut that crap out. It's not worth it.

I don't have to be a jerk about it and report you every step of the way to have to point out that you did a bad job here as a moderator. All Alphicans pointed out was that KillL0ck's infraction of 3 points was out of place, and unnecessary. You covering for yourself because he keeps reporting you and trying to get you demoted from your moderator status, does not justify what you did.
The long story short here? You guys put all the blame on KillL0ck, and he got twenty temporary points, and 6 permanent ban points. He was not the one to even start this whole fiasco. The whole reason it started in the first place was because we didn't approve of how Victra handled the situation, and a little bit of trolling took place, and yes THAT is something that we can be blamed and infracted for. We did it to prove a point, however. A rather stupid point, but a point nonetheless.
Shiro420 & SuPeRbOoM got temporarily banned for the event, meanwhile KillL0ck got 20 Infraction Points and 6 Permanent Infractions, meaning his account is permanently banned? And here's the funny thing, Mic. I'm not worried about getting in trouble when I want to clear everything up. You need to remove some of the Permanent Infractions from KillL0ck's account when he didn't even do anything wrong to begin with.

I also spammed Victra's wall just like everyone else with "YOU MAD" pictures as well. And yet I only got those infractions? I'm not trying to wave my arms around and go, "HEY, PUNISH ME! BAN ME! :D" I'm trying to point out to you guys, that what you did to KillL0ck was severely misplaced when there are so many other people involved in this that did far, far worse.
This is the skinny of what needs to happen, now that everyone can understand EVERYTHING that went down. There's no sugarcoating who said what, everything that I have explained is the hard truth.
• Victra needs to not worry about Alphicans reporting him all the time about the tiniest things that won't get him in trouble.
• Alphicans, stop reporting Victra at every given opportunity just because you have some ******* agenda you want to fulfill. You're being a douche, and you cornered Victra to taking action on matters that didn't even merit punishment, and KillL0ck suffered for it. So seriously, Luke. Cut the **** out. I mean it.
• KillL0ck needs fair treatment with everyone else. You are abusing your powers as moderators if you are setting an example for everyone by giving him 20 Infraction Points for not even being the worst one of the bunch, ALONG with 6 permanent points. If you want to set an example for everyone? Then PUNISH everyone equally. If this doesn't merit everyone getting permanently banned, then temporarily ban them, and we all come back with a fresh slate and with a permanent infraction point, be on our merry way, and we put this all behind us.
• Victra, never stop being a chill mod; we all make mistakes, and this kinda sucks, but it can be corrected.
This is all I have to say on the matter. I'll fight you guys to see how this is unfair for everyone else and especially KillL0ck if you simply wave this aside. Now everyone can know.

Brandon, are you ****ing with me? You're blaming me for this? Jesus Christ. I legitimately tried to get Jack out of trouble, and I even suggested in forum support that Jack/Dan/Shiro shouldn't be banned (lol). I can report Victor for whatever I want, in fact, it's every members job to report mods when they are doing a ****ty job. When Victor is dishing out 3 point infractions for an image that isn't offensive at all, and doesn't break forum rules, I think it's necessary to report him. Obviously, I report him for the lols as well, and I've told him that my goal in life is to get him de-modded, but we both know I probably won't be able to achieve that. The fact that you think Jack got infracted because of me is actually quite adorable, and laughable. Get real dude, Jack got infracted because he insisted to keep posting the image, even when Victor edited it out. He deserved the 3 point infraction, and probably another 3 point infraction for major spam/ trolling for the huge posts, but that's it. The fact that he has 20+ infractions is actually pretty dumb.
EDIT: Mic, you kidding me? Forum support sucks. Crimson King basically said that he wasn't going to reverse my infraction because he agreed with Victor. I gave him good reasons why I shouldn't be infracted, and he didn't even address my VALID points. Locking the thread for like half a week is not good. I think the bans came from the persistent and extremely angry responses. I was pretty much more of a cleanup crew, I had no idea originally what had caused it but the reaction to whatever had happened was unacceptable.
Mod doing a bad job? It happens sometimes, they're not infallible. Mods can and have screwed up in the past, and demodding them is not something that's going to break the staff's hearts if it's necessary.
Best thing to do when you feel wrongly punished is to go to Forum Support without making a scene. That way you come across as calm, reasonable, and just seeing yourself as wrongly infracted. You have every right to question a moderator's actions in Forum Support if you feel you've been mistreated. Use this opportunity.
It's like a bunch of kids in school. If your teacher acts out of line, you can report them in a, quiet, civil manner manner to administrative staff, who will look into it. You could also throw a tantrum in class, tell the teacher to f*** their mum, suck your ****, and burn in hell, but I'm not sure that's likely to improve your situation.
Bottom line is, don't sit here playing the blame game for the bans. The bans were entirely the fault of your reactions to Vic's actions. Think Vic screwed up? Make a nice, comprehensive complaint in Forum Support. That will help more than you guys arguing amongst yourselves, hurling **** at Vic, and moderators in general.
Also, 8/10 posters in this thread saw a Tim Hortons today, the other 2 being those that didn't leave the house.

1. I gave Luke the trolling infraction because he was trolling up to that point. I just gave him an infraction for trolling for that specific post because that just happened to be his most recent post up to that point. I told the admins about the same reason. Note how none of his other posts were infracted which should have been.
2. Editing it out on his post should have been enough for him to realize that it's not something I wanted to see posted again. At that point he was just trolling/spamming, and it didn't have much to do with the image at all. (Which is why I didn't infract him for the image in the first place. I just edited it out).

Victor, I wasn't trolling at all. Believe it or not, I was being serious. That image was not against the rules, and wasn't that bad at all.
