KillL0ck posted the picture of trolling the fanfiction with an Alien reference. Funny, and the only NSFW factor about it was simply WRITING about two women kissing. Frankly, it wasn't even smut. If he was trolling on a smut part of a roleplaying thread, than sure, give him the proper infraction because no pornography of any kind allowed, yeah? But no.
I would agree that the picture was inappropriate. If someone typed in text what was in that I would have done something.
The only reason that Victra came down on KillL0ck the way he did was because Alphicans would keep reporting him left, right, and center. He wants to get Victra in trouble as a Mod. So to make it seem like he was gonna be more enforceful, he saw KillL0ck's one post. One little post, and he edited it, and infracted KillL0ck for 3 Points for Major Spam.
I won't comment on what Vic did, but I'll tell you right now. People who report stuff that isn't needed to? Knock it off. Do you know how much stuff is reported? Do you know that myself and every super mod and above gets an email for every single one?
If you have a problem with a mod, send a PM to that mod, an admin, or post in forum support.
This is the picture. Mic, Victra, Teran, tell me how is this in the least bit offensive. There is no sign of pornography whatsoever, and as far as I can tell, this is no different from a post from the user Bread~ that he wouldn't get infracted for. It's just funny. And if one of you is going to counteract with saying that the facehugger looks like a ****** with spider legs? ...well that's just immature of you. Really, there are far worse things that people have gotten away with posting around here, and this is the one time that KillL0ck gets in trouble? Not very efficient if you ask me.
Again, I can't comment on everything in this bit (no idea who Bread is) but as said above, the text is not appropriate. Is it porn? No. Is it too much? Yes.

I don't have to be a jerk about it and report you every step of the way to have to point out that you did a bad job here as a moderator. All Alphicans pointed out was that KillL0ck's infraction of 3 points was out of place, and unnecessary. You covering for yourself because he keeps reporting you and trying to get you demoted from your moderator status, does not justify what you did.
If Victra had done something wrong, that doesn't justify what anyone did. That's like the teacher at school giving the wrong kid detention so a handful of students decide to throw books at everyone and everything in class.
The long story short here? You guys put all the blame on KillL0ck, and he got twenty temporary points, and 6 permanent ban points. He was not the one to even start this whole fiasco. The whole reason it started in the first place was because we didn't approve of how Victra handled the situation, and a little bit of trolling took place, and yes THAT is something that we can be blamed and infracted for. We did it to prove a point, however. A rather stupid point, but a point nonetheless.
As said, that doesn't justify it. I think cops did wrong by arresting my friend so I went and shot a bunch. Does that prove my point? And for the record, the reason why KillL0ck was permabanned was that he had a list of previous infractions by a variety of other mods.
Shiro420 & SuPeRbOoM got temporarily banned for the event, meanwhile KillL0ck got 20 Infraction Points and 6 Permanent Infractions, meaning his account is permanently banned? And here's the funny thing, Mic. I'm not worried about getting in trouble when I want to clear everything up. You need to remove some of the Permanent Infractions from KillL0ck's account when he didn't even do anything wrong to begin with.
I don't care what he didn't do, I care about what he did do.

I also made this. I only got infracted for one of these. The "Hey, Hey Vic," etc. one. I have only accumulated 5 Infraction Points. I also spammed Victra's wall just like everyone else with "YOU MAD" pictures as well. And yet I only got those infractions? I'm not trying to wave my arms around and go, "HEY, PUNISH ME! BAN ME! :D" I'm trying to point out to you guys, that what you did to KillL0ck was severely misplaced when there are so many other people involved in this that did far, far worse.
Oh no we are not all seeing gods! This is why we rely on people to report REAL stuff. That said, I did indeed not infract you for those threads, I guess it's what happens when I try to clean up a ****storm all at once. Would you like me to rectify that for you?
• KillL0ck needs fair treatment with everyone else. You are abusing your powers as moderators if you are setting an example for everyone by giving him 20 Infraction Points for not even being the worst one of the bunch, ALONG with 6 permanent points. If you want to set an example for everyone? Then PUNISH everyone equally. If this doesn't merit everyone getting permanently banned, then temporarily ban them, and we all come back with a fresh slate and with a permanent infraction point, be on our merry way, and we put this all behind us.
Kill had a history of infractions, no one else did. If a guy is charged for a robbery, he'll get a lighter sentence than his partner who has been mugging people and has multiple previous charges.
Brandon, are you ****ing with me? You're blaming me for this? Jesus Christ. I legitimately tried to get Jack out of trouble, and I even suggested in forum support that Jack/Dan/Shiro shouldn't be banned (lol). I can report Victor for whatever I want, in fact, it's every members job to report mods when they are doing a ****ty job.
In forum support or via pm's, not with reported posts (unless it's something that requires urgent attention, ie a mod posting porn, other people's details, ect) Too many people "jokingly" (or just stupidly) report mods for things that aren't any problem.
Obviously, I report him for the lols as well, and I've told him that my goal in life is to get him de-modded, but we both know I probably won't be able to achieve that.
See, this doesn't help your case at all. All it does is cause people to tend to ignore your complaints because you're not only reporting every minor thing, but because there's an alterier motive. You aren't reporting him because you think he's done wrong, you're reporting him to get him demodded, which makes it hard to decide if they actually did wrong, or wether it's just 'that guy' again.
EDIT: Mic, you kidding me? Forum support sucks. Crimson King basically said that he wasn't going to reverse my infraction because he agreed with Victor. I gave him good reasons why I shouldn't be infracted, and he didn't even address my VALID points. Locking the thread for like half a week is not good. You're basically punishing a whole region for what a select few individuals did >____>.
Again, I can't speak about forum support because I don't know what goes on there, but you are able to appeal to JV and explain it to him, but if you posted anything like this, I don't blame him. Post calmly, clearly, and with links.
Also, as for why I locked the thread, there's a reason for that. Some people don't care about what happens to themselves. My account got banned for spamming? I'll just make another! But when something is taken away from their friends, suddenly that can change their behaviour, especially when their friends tell them to knock it off.
Another school metaphor, but imagine the class clown, joking around. He doesn't care if he gets detention as long as he gets a laugh and the kids like him. But suddenly, there's no sport for the class because of him? Then the class isn't happy with him and he isn't getting the laughs.
You guys didn't even address my points regarding KillL0ck. There was no warning for KillL0ck either, when Victra said that he gave him one. Unless he believes that a 3-Point Infraction is a warning.
Didn't Victra also edit the image out a number of times and told him not to post it? even if it was someone else, it's a bit stupid to do that after someone's been told off a number of times for doing it.
If you guys let this go as it has, especially with KillL0ck's situation when he was hardly the worst one and yet he got hit the hardest and permanently banned? That, is not doing a proper job as a moderator for equality for everyone that got involved.

Far worse things have been posted that have been gotten away with or no one even batted an eye towards. Penthouse? Are you kidding? That was TAME. And just explicit descriptions of making out between women. WHen people talk about lighting up weed, getting *****, and stuff is allowed constantly?
Actually, no. That's against the rules and is infractable. (Of course the whole "i ***** you at smash!" is still okay, whereas "I tied you down and ***** you!" isn't)
Who posted the "**** Sucking" list or something, that got trolled by that chick's sister and shown on facebook? Did that get infracted? No?
Who reported it? We can't infract what we don't know happens. This is just making me think you guys need someone to keep a closer eye on you.
Discretion of the staff is the ****tiest system ever. With something like that, we get a mod like Victra that thinks an image with lego, kissing and a monster from a movie is inappropriate. There should be a more specific guideline for things like this :\.

Also, Brandon, I think you overrate how often I report Victor, because I don't really do it that much, only when he gives me a reason to. Believe it or not, but I actually report him for legit reasons, and it's not just to be a **** (although some of it is not gonna lie). But Victor wrecked my melee and revenge must be taken.
Again, just sounds more like you want to demodd him for personal reasons than any real professional reason.
You mean we got away with **** sucking lists and whatever Brad can/would post for random spam, seeing as that's what Alberta thread was mainly used for, but JACK gets **** kicked out of him for something 20x less offensive? Do you not see the problem with that?
I see the problem that he wasn't warned/infracted for the list. That's not on.
Just get Jack unbanned, the others who were banned will come back when the points expires, and we can carry on from this fiasco.
That will be up to the admins, not Vic. If anything I'd support keeping the ban permanent, especially if he just turns around and starts making alt accounts.
