Hey, I'm from the surrey, white rock area and I feel that I'm pretty good, but haven't really been able to play with anyone that pushes me to my limit. if anyone is planning a tournament or just matches, I would really like to help out and play. thanks! PS. I mainly play smash 4 now. but i could try the others as well. haven't played them in a long time so ill probably be quite horrible.

I'm not sure if anyone on this forum frequents the Kamloops area or is even from here, but we are developing a Smash community based out of TRU!

We are just starting out, but we have a decent number of players that show some serious potential. Though our events are mainly Sm4sh focused, we also almost always have Melee and sometimes PM tournaments going. We meet weekly for casual tournaments, and we are planning major events in time.

Come check us out! Kamloops has always lacked a Smash scene but we aspire to change that!

Yeah totally was going to ask the same question so I'm so glad that you asked it first! We probably saw each other there at Shinespiked 3&4 (which were my first tournaments ever.)

I am a melee main, so the only tournaments i have been able to go to are those two, but I'm in the Abbotsford area so I'm kinda limited to that zone, so if there is anybody willing to fight, or tournaments that can be recommended, hook me up! (and LowNasty too xD)

P.S LowNasty, 1v1 me next Shinespiked if you are there and play melee, it would be amazing to get to know someone who is at the same stage trying to get noticed in the competitive scene.

Check the pinned post for the upcoming event list and other info. Tricity/Maple/Pitt doesn't have tournaments atm, but we have smashfests once in awhile (I'm in PoCo). Weeklies happen Saturdays near Royal Oak station. You just missed last weekend, we had three 40 - 65 entrant events , so back to weeklies for now. Good luck, have fun.

I'm actually sort of an aspiring TO. I used to host a lot of vidya related events and Melee is too fun not to try. I'm talking with the MR Leisure Center about a room during a weekday evening for my friends and to expand that into something that gets hosted weekly.

If I ever make any headway I'll try to drum up support from the FB groups (just tried to join, I don't even use FB anymore haha) and these boards.

There are PM and sm4sh tournaments at VSB on Sunday's. Sometimes on Saturday's if there is a big tournament the day before or after like the UBC tournaments.

Just an FYI to anyone looking to come thru- we have melee at my place throughout the week anytime from 19:30 - 22:00 usually, sometimes til 00:00 depending on how I'm feeling.
