I've been playing smash for several hours in the evening on the past two evenings and the ONLY people that have come to join are Eric, Mark, and Roby. PEOPLE, I WANT TO HOST MORE OF YOU! Get your fannies over to my apartment more often people and consider replying to those texts sometimes (you know who you are -_-). =D MAY be smashing this afternoon/evening again, I'll contact people when I know for certain or people can contact me if they really wanna get some quality practice in today. =)

Edit: Mark is getting better, panelists in particular (Tiep/John) should work something out with me so we can all smash with mark together sometime soon. He's DEFINETLY going to DAN2 and MAY be going to Gameclucks this weekend.

Lolz dont' worry Xiphos, when I first joined the community they decided they would each 4stock me. They took turnz and laughed and were like lolz what a marthnoob. True story.

Keep posted. Maybe Eric can host something? I work this saturday =/

That's because you've only played against me, Matt, and Nathan, and you weren't a noob when you first played us. You actually (kind of) knew what you were doing, because you had been incorporating advanced techniques into your game for a while, practicing only 1v1's, knew your characters fairly well, etc.

I remember pointing manli to this thread as he was a lost soul at smashboards.
I don't think I've even met him. The last smash event I was at was like 2 years ago?

Well u should come out to Burnaby today instead and go to Roby's house by metrotown. Anyone who doesn't know where roby lives can be greeted at the metrotown skytrain station if needed.

Maybe... But I have finals coming up. However, after my finals, we can do a smash til dawn or something, lol. You could get a ride back in the morning XD

Btw, you've improved substantially. During those 6 (?) hours we played yesterday, I noticed you started fixing some of your bad habits (most of them being spacing issues). Also, you're getting better at keeping pressure on your opponent, which is the key to being succesful with Falco.

since i wasnt much at lounge at all on friday, i assume u didnt bring him here? cause i dont think ppl would let u guys play 6 hrs straight lol

anyway get a RF modulator so that my tv and vcr will work. then u can bring cube/n64 when u want. get more games going!

Yay smash. By the way is anyone still WILLING to upload videos? Or does anyone have a program? I mean I have recorded matches from several players, but no one all too interested in getting them up

My prediction for most unexpected characters to be introduced in brawl:
Daniel Lamb and Leo Kasper from Manhunt 2 XD
