Yea but I'm awful and don't want to take the time to learn 0-deaths/get better. I mostly just **** around on wifi. I'd play though if there was like a marvel fest or something.

I'd like to consider trying to get a marvel console fest, seeing as the arcade ufo can be a daunting place for less experienced players like me, problem is im a freshman, don't have a car [and no established connections with people with cars], and I room in jester, and my own setup is at home.

I'll see what I can do because i really like to play marvel, I just don't expect it to be much.

just an fyi, if there is marvel at the brawlfest, or at anything really, I try like 2x more to come haha. there was a TESPA event in ut austin and they mostly play LOL/SC/rts etc etc. I went to a meeting and played/watched fighting games for 7 hours in the back on like 3 setups.

I played more marvel than melee at the past meleefest last saturday on one setup [and I'm looking forward to when melee/brawl merge]

obv most brawl players would go to a brawlfest to play brawl, but i'm just saiyan, a little variety is always good.

oh and about this, do melee players want to play brawl? or do they want us to play melee?

i mean ive played melee very minimally but i guess i wouldnt be against playing from time to time. i dont own the game though.

I think it's just because of a couple things, one being that as a "smash club" we should accommodate any new players with any smash they want. Obviously this sucks for the n64 people because those are becoming rarer and rarer, but you get the point. The other thing is I think that the more people are at an event, the better.

I'm far from the spokesman of the melee people though, I just happened to join their group from a small tournament held in jester. there weren't any representatives from the brawl club on brawl day ;o

I've never played Battlefield so I'm not too familiar with it. I thought they were based on like old wars and stuff which is why I wasn't really into them. Not to mention none of my friends played it. lol

You're thinking of Medal of Honor. Battlefield 2 was the last true shooter, i.e. - no auto-aiming.

Also, it was hellishly fun. Battlefield 3 looks sick.

Actually, I'm thinking of the arcade Battlefield. If BF3 isn't a continuation (story wise) from BF2, I might consider getting it because it does look amazing.

Well, the fests would be in the location where we had HoM2. Except there would be Melee also going on. Downside is, it's not an actual "house" per say, so might not be as comfy or relaxing.
