I am not sure how a soccer mode would work, but I also have yet to play Melee. On the other hand, I tend to prefer battle modes, so it is an educated guess that I would rather Smash Run.

Well, 'darkness' is 'something bad,' so perhaps it has an effect on the random elements of the game. If tripping were still a mechanic, 'darkness,' for example could make it more frequent. It randomly has a negative effect on the opponent's statistics(?). I am not sure what it would do, but I might make that a public question.

NEVER SUGGEST REMOVING FOX AGAIN (thunder and lightning)! I take the 'wobble' mechanic.
