The one thing I'll bring for everyone is competition. To everyone who's been asking me to go places and come to see me. Its a different story when im in japan, my mom knows everyone I play and is pretty cool. When I get to the U.S.A my father might be strict but Im sure I can talk to him about it into letting me go play everyone, and mabey some people playing me. Im sure you guys can understand seeing how Im a girl, 16 1/2 years old, and my fathers never met any of you. Neither have I, the only reason I can go over to Chris house is cause he has a sister. Worst come to worst I'll be playing you all on the Wii WiFi, but eventually Im sure you'll see me pop up in tournaments.

I'll try and get a match recorded so I can put it on Youtube.com in the next couple days, of my fox vs. my cousins sheik or marth or something else.

anyways i can understand...even if you don't know them some of houstons smashers are very friendly...like me i made friends with people i just meet like shok, dawn, void, kage, axxo, zone, path, neon, pimpslap and others through just melee

Nah, some guy said he might bring a copy of the Japanese version. The Ganestop demos (read: actual copies of the game) should start rolling out by next weekend. If not, well...bah. At least, the Gamestop that's been holding tourneys claims they will break open a copy so that people can play when they receive the games. They can't SELL it...but they always gut one game to use the case as display, and if the game somehow ACCIDENTALLY made it's way into the demo Wii...

I hope. I mean everyone I asked about Houston's top 5 speaks of you and Sideeffect as if you guys are Pro's, which is good, so I know your good and I can use the practice.
#4, Its probably not a good idea for any boy to talk to my dad, let leave that to me, but thanks for everyone trying to help. Houston is so friendly.

I'll most likely have to split the cost with him because he told me the only place you can find them is on Ebay and they cost $400, is this really true? There sold out in Texas? I didn't know the Wii was selling that good in Texas, I thought everyone in Texas played Halo 3 on the Xbox 360?

Anyways thanks for everyone trying to help, I can assure you guys that eventually you will see me at an event, but in the meantime I'll happily play you guys in Brawl on WiFi. I made sure my Dad new I needed the American Wii by no later than March 7th, and he was cool with it. I think he's trying to bribe me into moving in with him. Anyways thanks all again.

The Wii is hard to find in America in general. What is it, over 20 million sold worldwide? I know some people that are STILL looking for one. People will regret not getting one when March 9th comes around. People in Texas only play Halo 3? Whaaaa..? Is this what they teach in Japan...? <_<

And yes, the Top 5 in Houston right now will probably do well in Brawl, but it's not Melee 2.0, so expect the playing field to be somewhat even for the time being. Houston has A LOT of people who talk trash and only a handful can actually back it up, but not everyone in Houston has a cocky attitude, so just ignore it.

And yes, you being a girl got the 100% expected "OMG!!!11!!!" reaction. Gaming nerds at their finest.
