i remember a while back i met this kirby player(i was jigglypuff) and we simulated a love affair where the kirby player would slow walk into me as i did the same as if we were...you know...anyway it was really awesome because we were both skilled players and would destroy any crashers or scrubs that came in until they left...i played in this room for like 5 hours and pretended to "break up" with the kirby player and move to the other side of the stage to show disapproval. I would then crouch taunt and if the kirby player wanted to get back together he would start crouch taunting too. We both copied each other and knew all the miscellaneous ATs. It was definitly one of my favorite basic brawls

See, this is why KO Charity comes in handy so well in some situations. Get hit by a friend, jump off the stage and die. Rinse and repeat and holy crap your friend has OMGBALLSLOTS of points.

I'm a decent player who can play at a reasonable proficiency of skill(I'm a tourneygoer who places decently and also actually participates in Taunt Parties), but there's no way I can ensure a crasher's loss every time if everyone fights head on every match. And considering that one loss is all we need to get screwed over, coupled with the shenanigans a crasher can pull in a 3v1 situation, we're gonna need all the dirty tricks we can scrap together too, right?

problem is john numbers, not alot of BB ppl realize they have the power to do that

i'm with M-wolf, if the whole room is just a taunt party i just drop out and look for someone fun to mess with

That's uber annoying, then again.. I don't seek conflict unless someone hits me. :chuckle:
i follow the same policy, if you leave me alone its good. Touch me and i go A-WALL

So it's up to us to get the word around about the KO Charity ability.

Although not very fun, this is, by far, the strongest power we have.

lol yesterday a hacker made me Popo and another player Nana. And then the changed us to wario man and Giga bowsers. Then a Wario man somehow froze my wii...
One time, after a number of taunt matches with multiple players and a hacker who kept changing the music on the stages (I kept doing stuff like attack to the music...) the hacker turned me into Giga Bowser, and then in another match he turned someone else into Wario-Man. I about peed my pants. Also, in the earlier matches with him, I picked Olimar, threw all the Pikmin off the stage, and pointed at him repeatedly with my F-smash.

Also, there have been a few times where I was in a party with a hacker, and the hacker picked a normally non-playable stage, like the Home-Run Derby. It was sudden death, I was Dedede, I was at the left side, I kept falling, Ganon up taunted repeatedly and then joined in while I was air-dodging, I kept falling some more, some other guy joined in (forgot the character), and the last guy (also forgot) kept walking right. I disconnected. Same goes for the time me, Fox, a Snake, some other character were in the all-stars resting station, where the screen stayed dark forever after someone went on the teleporter.

Jigglypuff can chase you offstage before you can suicide though =D
if its 3v1 its harder to do that then you think trust me lol

also i dont part take in 3v1 anymore since its really not something i need to be skillful at doing. Im more interested in messing with people, running away for fun, and 1v1.

Typically once i get someone mad enough they chase me out of spite and anger. THATS where the fun begins.

Looks like it's time to crack out Fox and get a lazer in before they get that suicide. Don't you just love stealing KOs? :awesome:

Pretty big misconception. It's hard for one to notice who is and isn't suiciding, whether or not they're even going for it, actually hitting them, etc. especially among three opponents.

And even if you do tap me with a laser, it's not that hard for me(or any other person/character) to get back on stage, since I'd have to be at least above the stage for your laser to make contact...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ this

ive run into rooms that were 2v1 and i just chill out and AFK on the other side of the map. Why just the other night i was chillin and a Falcon/Luigi were ganging up on a pretty good Falco/Fox player. The luigi wouldnt leave me alone on my pikachu n killed me a few times since i was lazy. All that changed once i got on DDD tho
he'd do well to not approach me if his spaced fireballs were getting pshielded, n' him grabbed out of it. He wised up real quick and stopped harassing me

But i have been in rooms where EVERYONE gang bangs me. At that point i get off DDD and get on pikachu or sonic and i run n throw items at them. The best part about a forced 3v1 situation is that a smart player will corral the group of haters together so as they try to hit me, they take damage to themselves for chasing me. Use items to scatter them, then pick them off. One should also only attack if one of your pursuers get too close, this attack obviously should be your fastest attack preferably an aerial and NOT A GRAB. Obviously you also gotta keep your damage low so dont get hit much and DONT GET GRABBED.

Ive been in situations where i got gangbanged and kept up a hit n' run strategy for so long, my pursuers start to get mad at each other for killing them/hitting them thats when the ball goes back into the free for all court.
heh heh heh
Did I ever tell you your one of my favorite DDD mains? If not I'll say it again after you posted this. <3

well its a good thing you got to play me at MLG =P

until my ssf4 TE sticks come in, i'm still gonna be messin around in basic for fun. So look out for me there on my red sonic/pika/ddd

But srs@the topic, taunt parties really arent that fun to stay in...idk why any one would. I prefer playing 2v2 in BB over 3v1.

You know... this makes me think of a few players I've seen (and majorly myself).
I don't like taunt parties, but I hate free-for-alls. What I usually do is stand aside and just watch to see what's going on. When there is a party crasher I always fight them and when everyone is a taunter I just ignore them.
Sort of the same, except I will normally observe before just joining a Taunt Party. =P I want to make sure I know who's the real crasher, since sometimes, it's the Taunt Partiers who are the crasher, and there just pretending to be OK with the other 2 so he can win. And y'know, teaming up with crasher sometimes work. Like one time, I teamed up with a Bowser and he didn't crouch down or anything and when he saw that I was on his side, he simply just did not attack me. And when we were on Sudden Death he didn't hit me, he'd just fall off the stage. =P But those type of fighters are rare.

Looks like it's time to crack out Fox and get a lazer in before they get that suicide. Don't you just love stealing KOs? :awesome:
Oh man, I HATE it when people do that lol. It doesn't happen often, but I normally whoop the person who did that's ***.

Basically if you're mad, the jokes on you. whether you are a crasher or a taunt partyist, doesn't matter.
It's fun getting other people mad though. They rage and act desperate to kill anyone.
I hate items because that's usually how they will get a few KO's.

which is why i set mine off

BBs that have no concept of competitive play are rendered helpless without items

Agree with the first part, having a sense of humor is what it's all about. But disagree completely with the second part, I don't enjoy when people get angry, I just wish they'd GTFO at that point. I want a good vibe and good times for everyone, not stupid bull****.

Alright, I had a really weird Hacker moment.

For quite awhile, I was in a quad Sonic Ditto. Many matches before one of the three had taken us to Target Smash.

BUT, at one point, we were taken to a completely black screen. There were no floors, so unless we Homing Attacked each other, we would constantly die. The only item on were the Smash Balls.

Was this just a hacked stage? Because Battlefield Vr. 2 was was playing, I assumed they either made a stage of nothing, or their hack didn't turn out right.

I would check what the name was, but I got disconnected before I could record a replay D:

So you were free falling? Yeah it's a hack...or better yet...

No, that stage is supposed to be the last Custom Stage played on. If you haven't played on a Custom Stage since you started Brawl, then there is nothing to load so it's an empty stage. It's only playable with a button-activator code, or an edited Stage Selection Screen. Stage retextures never work on Basic Brawl, EVER. That stage, along with WWR, Targest Smash, HRC and others, works on wifi because it's already an in-game stage.

Whoaaaa. I suppose Mr. Hacker didn't create a stage for that reason.

......Brawl needs more hackers. Just sayin'. *isn't too willing to brick Wii*

Lol yeah, but usually hackers will be banned from wifi if they try anything in Basic Brawl. (Nintendo works undercover sometimes)

So they don't really hack much in the open unless it's "With Friends" mode.

I don't think that's true, I've been hacking BB for months (Including 'cheating' hacking like using Gigabowser to **** teamers) and I'm not banned, though that might have something to do with me having the smash service and allow spectators off. Even if I WAS banned, there's a code to get around it.

Either that or they don't care about brawl from time to time. A friend of mine got banned from nintendo wifi when they hacked Animal Crossing Country Folks, but can still use brawl's wifi. So I guess it just depends.

This fox partier and I were planking in sudden death in New Pork City. We must have been at it for around 5 minutes and then a bob omb hits me when I ran out of invincibility frames and didn't dimensional cape fast enough. But then we did that again on a different stage and we were there for around 9 minutes and whenever I taunted and said " Come " he would respond with " Here I come ". XD

Does anyone know a black wolf who always chooses black Wolf first off, and normally chooses Target Test? I keep seeing him on Wi-Fi and I think he's pretty cool. =P

Some people don't seem to understand playing Temple fifty thousand times in a row after a party has been established ISN'T FUN and makes me go afk or spam Ike's Usmash/MK's Jab until the next match.

I didn't mean my goal was to get people to rage quit. I like when there are fun times for all as well. when someone keeps losing against me, and then they get mad, it's not my fault lol. All I can do is laugh.
