TATER'S COMPLETELY NORMAL AND NON-GIMMICKY TOURNAMENT #1*

Hello, SWF! IT'S-A ME!! Tater!
Bringing you one of the simplest wi-fi tournaments (series, if this works out and I do more) ever!

There are no character bans, no gameplay or stage gimmicks, NOTHING! Just you, 15 other people, and me to tell you who to fight.

Signups will be in the generic wi-fi tourney signup system, if you don't know it, it looks something like this:

Now for the technical stuff:

Stalling=BANNED
Planking=BANNED
Meta Knight's Infinite Cape glitch=BANNED

If any player ends a match in a suicide-K.O. (Bowser's suicide klaw, Kirbycide, Ganon choke, etc.), Then the win is determined 1st by stock, then %, and if there's a legit tie, the attacker gets the win.

-The 1st stage of the set will be determined by stage striking
-The loser of the 1st game can change character, then his/her counterpick
-You may not choose a counterpick you have already won on in that set unless both players agree to it
-You may play any banned stage as a counterpick as long as both players agree to it.

The date for round 1 of the tournament will be decided once 16 players have registered.

Green Greens is legit. Wall infinites are removable by both players easily and bombs are hardly an issue. I find it funny how mostly MKs whine about it since its one of the few times he actually gets CP'ed and It was legit in Melee.

Ok guys, sorry to double post (it's my thread, right?), but just wanted to get this out to you guys, the tourney is officially 16 people. I'm not going over that because seeing as this is my first online tournament, I want to keep it simple. Also, a few rules I did not list in the OP.

Additional Rules

Each match will be:

-3 stock
-8 minute time limit
-Items set to OFF and NONE
-Recording matches or saving replays is recommended in case a dispute arises
-If you have been eliminated, you may post an early sign-up to Tater's C.N.A.N.G.T. #2 if you wish to
-Seeing as this is my 1st tournament, after It concludes, if at all possible, I would like some feedback, was it good, was it bad, was it poorly run, were there rules not addressed, did it take too long, any comments are welcomed.

Also, thanks for joining, I hope to keep the C.N.A.N.G.T. string going for as long as possible to provide funa nd efficient online tournaments to those of us who prefer a little less of this, or this, or even (god forbid) this.

Not to be offensive to anyone who likes to run inventive styles of tournaments, you seem much more original compared to me, but there should always be at least 1 simple, clean (lol KH reference, just noticed), and straightforward tournament to play in.

My brawl disc is fairly scratched, and last week i chose Toon Link but, the game would tell me the disc could not be read. But i tried it again yesterday, and now it actually works! then i tried it multiple times, IT WORKED! i am very happy i can use him again, so can u please add him? i know it's a little late but still, these were unexpected circumstances.

Know that. Just haven't decided who I'm gonna use yet, nor do I really have a main. Use over 5 in my last few tournies, so I decided to leave it blank for now. I'll give you a heads-up if my decision changes anytime soon.

and ismar, the character listings aren't too important, and i don't think i want to be doing that from where i'm typing right now

also, if possible, contact your opponent to tell them that the bracket is up, that and typing posts takes a while from a DSi. that's right-im in yur smashboards, running tourneys on the go
