Sonic is no more of a "fighter" than Tails is. That is an invalid point imo.

Look at Peach, Zelda, Captain Falcon. None of them were "fighters". Fact is, in SSB, every character is a fighter, regardless of how they were portrayed in their other roles.

It really doesn't matter, though. I don't think they'd waste two third-party characters on one game/series. The last will probably be from Megaman...

If I figured out another Sonic character got into Brawl (which won't happen), and I ended up figuring out it was Tails, I would slam my head into my TV until I lost consciousness.

Sure, but most of them look to have fighting ability which Tails doesn't. Sure Sonic isn't pictured as a fighter, but he actaully does fight in most of the games he's on. Knuckles is what I'd call a "fighter" and would deserve to be playable.

We're not gonna get another Sonic char anyway, so it doesn't really matter. Best we can hope for (or hope not for, if you don't like him) is for a Shadow colored alternate costume.

I didn't really bother reading the TC's first post. It seems this confirmation of Sonic has deluded people. Tails will not show up as a playable character. He will be an AT at best.

You're right, we shouldn't be arguing, but while I agree that Knux > Shadow, and most old school Sonic fans agree, most Sonic fans would say Shadow.

Honestly, I don't think Tails would take one of their spots if he was playable. SEGA loves to put pressure on people to add more then just Sonic when they bring in Sonic also IGN claims Tails will make it and they guaranteed Sonic earlier.

We will have to wait and see... IGN seems to beg to differ on this subject. If you know SEGA's personality, they likely put in the terms that Tails has to be in with Sonic. SEGA is like that.

Hmm, that does sound a bit interesting Tails is like the Luigi to the Sonic series, though it does sound unrealistic that Sega would get two representatives.
