There was only 90 seconds left after that, I was going to use that as an advantage, grab a banana, and wait as long as I could before I died.

I still hate myself slightly for doing such a thing though, lol >_>

No. Zen made himself impossible to kill by covering himself with bananas and Dash Attacks, and I did the same with Spin Dashes, running, feinting, and Spring bails. We both didn't go down until we were both in the 200s both stocks.

When I got the kill second stock (which btw, was with Up-throw (again), so lol), I grabbed a banana, and Spin Dashed to keep myself moving around, and Sprung out of harm's way to keep him guessing when I'd come in and hit him for more damage.
