well. i fail quite miserably at reading. I seem to have jumped from page 5 to 9.I have. And looking back so did a lot of people
Should I just delete that map or what? I wrote distinctly that it was from an old project and was not entirely relevant to this. Only one of those cities is official: Hyrule City.Guys, do you want some concept designs for new or redesigned weapons and such? I don't think anyone's really talked about new items.
Also I noticed that all the countries or sections of Hyrule (eg darunia, hyrule castle, etc...) all have the same icon. I can get some of those running based on previous sages and temple iconography.
That sounds cool, I guess. Power-hungry CEO's ARE a little cliched, so that probably wouldn't be the best idea.I'm not feeling the thief. Meaning, I don't see any substance in him right now. I'm also not feeling the CEO (which is a stab at myself, because I too had that idea). Power-hungry CEO's are to be expected. Since we're involving three other countries, perhaps we should base a lot of the game around them also (meaning the antagonist), which means that we can cut some areas from Hyrule and focus on areas from these. Hyrule is no longer an isolated country - it has become part of a larger view of the world. Hence, many of the important aspects that have originated from Hyrule in the past now may originate from anywhere.
This is what I like to seeOkay, I completed my idea of a new region. Sorry for the paint-like effect it has. I created it completely in GIMP this time, and I guess I kind of like the effect:
![]()
The region is a mostly marsh-like region with scattered forests. The farther South you go, the more tropical it is...
The white dots are cities/villages, and I have a version without them.
So, what do you think?
The only part that really counts is the part within the mountain, on the city side. Oh wait! I'll reupload a version with fog-of-war in order to hide the unnecessary areas. This is what I like to see
Keep in mind, Hyrule is still going to be the largest nation.
Labrynna + Holodrum = size of Hyrule
Cobble = half of Hyrule
5th Country = half of Hyrule
PLEASE READFor anyone that misread, we are making ONE new country. Not ONE per person, but ONE for this entire project.
So do we all submit something and then take a vote? This is what I like to see

If you add on a savannah region to your map, then you have both mine, and zaneeba's approval. The only part that really counts is the part within the mountain, on the city side. Oh wait! I'll reupload a version with fog-of-war in order to hide the unnecessary areas.
I can't wait for Zaneeba's map. I bet it's going to be good.![]()
Go ahead. So do we all submit something and then take a vote?
That sounds like the best way to do it, yeah.So do we all submit something and then take a vote?
I know it hasn't been long since I posted the idea, but there have already been a few posts after it, and sometimes my posts have a habit of being buried without having been replied to.what if the Fierce Deity character was explored more in the project? It's a REALLY random thought I just had, I just thought it would be interesting to learn more about him.
Sigged. And these Poes would make Nintendo cry because they couldn't design any as good.He beats that drum like a red-headed stepchild!
I feel as if my work best represents the concept art for ALttP and OoT, but the concept art alone, not the content within the games. The drawing for The Errant was inspired entirely by the Zelda Wii concept art. It's a bizarre mix between all the zelda games it seems. The dragon SH made is very TP, while i have been sticking to the OoT roots as close as possible.
Spire: Thank ye kindly, pilgrim! You may need to fix that quote because it messed up a bit.
And the same goes for Holodrum. However, I don't think Onox and Veran would have ever been sent there, because there was no motive to resurrect Ganon. I would love help in these fields, because they are pretty touchy. Glad you're tasking yourself with it.I think I've read most/all of this, and I don't think anyone else is considering this yet, so I figured I'd mention it and my intentions. I've been pondering possibilities for a future-Labrynna. That almost fascinates me more than future-Hyrule, just because we've seen it in two time periods already, and how it changes and develops. I've got a few ideas that I might flesh out a bit. Looking at Mewter's map, I'm thinking of placing it to the north of that hook-shaped peninsula and the river delta, on another peninsula that juts out, with Crescent Island fitting in there somewhere. It's very open though, because if we're operating out of the child timeline, then according to our timeline, the events of OoA never happened. I'll need to refresh myself on exactly what events happened there, and how Link influenced them. I'm planning on assuming everything before the game happens the same, and it's only when Link doesn't arrive that things diverge there. Any input is of course welcome.
Nice, SH! Hmm, I think Link should be in the process of raising his shield, but that's just me. Also, if that dragon happens to be an electricity user, then maybe there should be rolling storm clouds behind it?alright, bar the occasional touch up as i go on from here, i think he's pretty much done. I might add spikes to his armor, though, that hone in on you when fired.
I'm not particularly attached to this sketch, so if anyone wants to improve something, let me know.
it'll probably be finished finished tomorrow. im kinda beat.
Cool. It adds some personality to the poes.*Big Drawing with large text body of text*
Edited for coherence, lol. And I thought that everyone was trying to advance technologically, which ultimately led to the downfall of the world, ending in destruction. These mechs were to be desired by the rest of the world, when Labrynnians built them, not the Hylians. I just wanted to add mechs (and yes, at the point where our story takes place they are old, moldy, and rusty relics) to use for the explanation of the destruction of these parts.Firstly Scott - WOW! This is beyond impressive. I will update the OP with this information immediately.
@ toon_marth - Yeah, I said that we might be able to have a handful of mechs from years and years before (that's at least 100, potentially going upwards of 300). These would be rusty, old relics. The world is not trying to advance technologically. Don't you think that if Hyrule - the leading nation - collapsed because of technological reign, that its subordinate nations would not follow in its footsteps?
Also, this being based before OoT is not official. That's simply Werekill's idea.
