No, lemme put it this way.

The game gave me the choice between my best friend, or my right arm.
Yeah, Undertale can give you good and bad feels, but LISA just makes you feel like trash. If you ever have a joyous moment it's only because someone else got hurt.

I haven't seem @Swampasaur 's post, but I see an opportunity to share this .gif of the night crawlers, so I am.
They're supposedly apart of some Native American legend. They're completely harmless, only come out at night and might possibly be Aliens.

I know this might get passed around in the Kirby group. Just tag me if it does go there. My friend wants to know what you guys think.

Don't be so pessimistic. :013:
I posted it, thanks for tagging me!
It looks awesome.

I think Nintenzilla tagged you in the group.

Using the Spearcopter was a great idea!

Who do you guys think the first 3rd party villain would be? But here's the catch;

Can't be from a series already in Smash. So basically, what villain would represent an unrepped 3rd party franchise?

Heihachi seems to be the only logical choice.

Since the only two villains I could see being added(they're Villain Protagonists after all) have already been answered, I'll try to be original
Have this guy represent the game it comes from

Something something too big

Besides Xenoblade X, I also restarted Pokémon Black 2.

And hooooooooooooooooooooooly :4palutena: I forgot how much Clay's Excadrill was over-powered.

That guy was banned for a reason
Because of Sand Rush+Infinite Sandstorm
Which is probably even sillier than the Gen 6 bans
Clay becomes a walk in the park simply by having a water Pokemon though
At this point in the game you can get Scald and the bridge before only has a Water/Flying Pokemon, there's no excuse for someone to think Clay is hard

I played Black 1
Got stuck at the Elite 4 because I never did any wild battles since I was a scrub back then who had like Level 20s and like 200 Revives
Worst gym for me was the Electric One because the only Pokemon I had higher then Level 3 was Snivy
Whoops :drshrug:

I mean, they banned a Pokemon because it gets faster on Sandstorm
There are Pokemon who are way worse than this during weather such as passive evasion boosts, boosting the power of moves or even getting 100% ACCURACY MOVES WITH A 120BP
But nope, ban the Pokemon that gets faster, but only one of them

So far, I can only think of Heihachi and Nightmare. There really aren't alot of series where the villain has a whole ton of popularity and notoriety. I mean, if non-videogames were included, I could see Darth Vader happening. But really, in terms of video games, there's not much.

That being said, somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Valkyrie Chronicles has an antagonist that is pretty popular within their series, but like I said, I don't know too much about it, so somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh you mean Selvelria? She really is popular in a sense. Especially considering she's in Fighting Climax with Akira from Virtua Fighter as secret fighters but I wouldn't see her as anything but a Mii Fighter costume at most.

VC has Selvaria, who even made it as a playable guest character in a fighting game not long ago, she's arguably the face of the series.

Not exactly likely for Smash though.

Excadrill was banned because of incredible strength, being the fastest mon in the game with sand and a terrific movepull to the point everyone used it. Evasion boosting moves and abilities were always banned.

Still sillier than the Mega bans lol

And evasion abilities were banned? That explains why some people disconnected after they missed an attack because of my Bright Powder lol

Yep, this guy! --> A Distant Demon A Distant Demon (still named Oni333 in my canon)

This reminds me that they didn't use Megaquaza as a superboss
Such a missed opportunity
Any examples? I can try to justify them
I don't remember Brightpowder being banned, though most of my knowledge is on Free For Alls.
Almost every Mega
Blaziken(normal form included), Lucario, Gengar, Khangaskhan are the main ones I can recall
Non-megas have Greninja, Talonflame(I believe?) and Aegislash(this is 3/6 of my Y team)

A Water/Flying type won't easily cheese the match since Excadrill has Rock Slide, Sandslash has (the albeit, weaker) Rollout, and Krokorok can hit you neutrally with Crunch. He may still have a notable weakness to water types, but it's not like Korrina where she's completely helpless if you pull out a Ghost type.

I'm aware. I wasn't really mentioning her because of likeliness. The question was "What unrepped series could be repped with a villain?" So really, I was just trying to think of a series with a popular antagonist that wasn't Tekken/Soul Calibur and as I was thinking and checking, Valkyria Chronicles came into mind.

Etika's Corrin Analysis was pretty good, I was surprised he brought up the point about saints and various religious legends often going barefoot to represent modesty, and how that potentially ties into Corrin's character.

Turn 1 against Krokorok, set up Rain Dance(I believe they learn it early), tank Crunch easily
Turn 2-?, spam water moves considering you're faster than the rest of his team
Alternatively, all 3 starters can take on him
Samurott wipes the floor woth Clay's face, Serperior can tank everything and easily take out 2/3 of his Pokemon and Emboar just needs to spam some STABs despite its weakness
I beat Clay easily on Challenge Mode, on a Nuzlocke, it's not that hard

Blaziken has a wide movepull, great offensive stats and Speed Boost. If it wasn't for Speed Boost, it'd be MUCH less of a threat. Mega just makes it worse
Lucario is similar, it's got amazing offense, can go mixed and an extremely huge movepull 'Mega Lucario is a guessing game, guess right, it goes down with relative ease. Guess wrong, 3 mons gone.' Gengar was banned for Shadow Tag Perish Song, it could just stall you out and switch out, forcing you to stay in and lose the mon. Kengaskhan has huge bulk and incredible strength, then comes Parental Bond that also breaks through sashes and substitutes, Game Freak themselves considered nerfing it. Greninja has high offensive stats, crazy huge movepull that countered EVERYTHING in it's tier and Protean. Talonflame isn't banned. Aegislash can wall easily and it's amazing offensive movepull makes it near impossible to predict and it can do pretty much anything it wants. BTW, banning a pokemon is also done by a community, you earn points by battling, then you can vote for it to get banned or stay

Outside of Mawile, those are the only ones they ever banned, which is far from every single Mega.

Plus, aside from maybe Greninja (Talonflame wasn't banned), most of those have good reasons to get kicked out.

Turn 2-?, spam water moves considering you're faster than the rest of his team

The TM isn't available until the six Gym, so that's not an option. As for those who learn it naturally, Gyarados doesn't learn it until lv 38, and at that point, you're cheesing him anyway. Ducklett learns it at lv 34, but you can only get it in the mid-20s right before the Gym and his team is low 30s, so you'll have to grind to get it, and then grind again to get Swanna since Ducklett is even more fragile and probably will be 2HKO'd (if not OHKO'd) by any of Clay's team members.

Also, it should be noted that unless you grind a bit, you won't have a fully evolved team, so you'll more likely be fighting him with a Dewott, Servine and Pignite then their evolved forms (though I will admit, each have the tools to take him on).

Blaziken has a wide movepull, great offensive stats
So, basically every Pokemon in OU?
Speed Boost
This would be useful if he could survive, sure Protect exists but that gives you one stage boost only
'Mega Lucario is a guessing game, guess right, it goes down with relative ease. Guess wrong, 3 mons gone.'
This ends up being player dependant
Which means skill comes into play
Having to predict your oponent's moves is something that shouldn't be considered "unfair"
Gengar was banned for Shadow Tag Perish Song, it could just stall you out and switch out, forcing you to stay in and lose the mon
This one I can understand, but then again, why didn't they just ban Perish Song on Gengar instead of a whole Pokemon?
Kengaskhan
I loved how everyone got so salty abput this thing
I always got my ass destroyed by her but instead of whining I tried to make counter strategies
Greninja has high offensive stats, crazy huge movepull that countered EVERYTHING in it's tier and Protean.
It's a shame any strong physical move takes him down in one hit though
Aegislash can wall easily
I can say this isn't true from personal experience
Earthquake and Fire Blast are two of the most common moves and are safe on King's Shield, considering Aegislash can't focus on both Special and Physical(unless someone goes for defensiveslash which is just dumb) one of them is bound to take him out
amazing offensive movepull
King's Shield takes up a slot, always
The rest is going to be 3 out of these 4
Ghost stab/Steel stab/Swords Dance/Sacred Sword
It's the one of the easiest Pokemon to predict
banning a pokemon is also done by a community, you earn points by battling, then you can vote for it to get banned or stay
Hard to do that with alp those bans tho

Luxray confirmed for Pokken please pleas please

How is your progress/team anyway?
Same as last time, except you evolved
For those who don't remember(nicknames as they are ingame)
Oni333(Luxray)+Sonomura(Buneary)
Megalon72(Kirlia)+Pokechu(Leafeon)
ChampBlack(Golbat)+CyberHyper(Scyther)
