A Distant Demon
Finale
Had to look up the worm, yuki-onna, and moth man.Okay. My idea is basically a 2D fighting game that stars monsters/myths/crytpids from all around to world.
Some of the characters would include.
Medusa
Yuki-Onna
Valkyrie
Succubus
Wolfman
El Chupacabra
Moth Man
Ostrich
Robot
Minotaur
Dragon
Vampire
Golem
Mongolian Death Worm
I don't have an exact idea for some of the characters but I do have some ideas.
I'll go over a few of them.
Medusa: She's mellowed out quite a bit. She wears a bandanna over her snake hair to cover them and sunglasses to prevent people from turning into stone. The snake would have turned mellow as well, helping her while gaining sentience of their own. I'm not sure what her exact fighting style would be but the obvious super of turning the opponent to stone is there.
Succubus: A young succubus trying her darndest to keep her virginity before her wedding day. She's Jewish. I don't know what fighting style she could have but I imagine bat winds would be a major factor. I suppose one could call her a parody of Morrigan.
Moth Man: A half man, half moth thing from the States. He's actually a normal person who was experimented on by aliens. He could have a status inflicting powder move and use his wings to fly around.
Valkyrie: A male Valkyrie. He was somehow born that way to the other Valkyrie's fascination. He could have kind of a rock star attitude and would focus of zipping around everywhere.
Ostrich: I know. You're going WTF. But I thought a good joke character would be an ostrich.
WITH CYBERNETIC ENHANCEMENTS!
I also got a neat stage idea. The Loch Ness Monster and the Kraken could be fighting in the background, but the fight is interrupted by the appearance of the Leviathan.
Just ideas... Not sure if they're good.
Neat.
The idea sounds fun. I would probably play it.
The question is who the main character is. I feel like bigfoot seems cliche enough to work.
Certainly "basic" enough to be the "simple" character every fighting game has.
EDIT this is why you read every post.
Also you can never ever have enough greek mythology
