Social Swamp's Social Thread 3 - And now, the end is near, and so I face the final curtain...

It's scary how much of a knack I have for details for Rosalina at this point.

Before her reveal for Rio Olympics, and I think before she was revealed for Ultra Smash, I had started a drawing of her by request of someone in the Rosalina social. It's not in her normal outfit (I won't spoil it yet), and her leg shape should be exposed. So I used the Biker outfit as a reference (from various different angles too). You can already see how thick and fit her legs are from that (surprised people never paid much attention before the aforementioned games), but I reasoned that I could make her legs a bit thicker than that for this outfit, because as I was examining it, I noticed details on the Biker suit that make it look super tight, restraining body parts like her thighs. So I made her legs a bit thicker.

Now I decided to take what I've drawn so far and compare it to the Rio Olympics render that's been released where her legs are bare and, yes, I was right to make her legs slightly thicker than the Biker outfit, since they do indeed look noticeably thicker when bare/in a less restraining outfit.

It's very satisfying when your artistic reasoning gets proven right, especially when people are always going around saying stuff like "ROSALINA IS SUPPOSED TO BE FLAT AND THIN AS A RAKE AND SMALL AND NOT REMOTELY SEXY TO ANYONE AND BLAH BLAH BLAH".

I've since toned down a little on the thickness of them in my drawing though since the outfit is a bit restrictive in that area.

Just a little thing I felt like sharing.

The Exalt family is Joestar levels of cursed.

Sure, Anri got to be Naga's holy knight to fell Medeus; but his true love married the throne of another Kingdom.

:4marth:gets his parents killed almost before his very eyes.

Chrom's parents die before any grandchildren are born for reasons we don't even get to know. They don't even get names! They aren't even MENTIONED in their entire game!

Emmeryn... yeah.

Chrom is helpless to Emm's fate. Grima. Possibly sees his future-daughter marry (or future-nephew) his best friend which is god knows how many levels of awkward, and then everything about Smash. F!Robin being Lucina's daughter.

Lucina has her family killed and possibly ends up having Robin as a Mother, Uncle, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, or Husband and gets slapped on as a Marth clone despite copying her father's fighting style.

Owain alongside Lucina's optional siblings all get no ties to the actual falchion or any level of fame.

Lissa doesn't even get to gain a mark; spending her entire childhood questioning if she's even a proper sibling... and then....

I figured if I became a Mod, it would help me become more mature in life as I'm looking to be more responsible. Effectively making an entirely new learning experience for myself.

I also want to do as much as I can in order to help out the community more =).

She and Chrom did avoid one curse though. They almost became a Great-Great-Grandparent had Morgan been in Fates(and Lucina a Great-Grandparent).

To be honest, I'm surprised they didn't try a thing with transferring your Morgan to Fates, considering all the love shown to Awakening in Fates.

I might apply. But I have to look into it first. And I don't know if I'm considered good enough to be a mod, respectively. My track record for Warnings isn't an issue(I've gotten one Warning, and made sure to be more reasonable since then), but I don't think I've really contributed well enough to any major threads. So "character forums" is likely out of the question. I'd work better as a general mod since I can easily tell when issues happen(mostly in the area I visit, but yeah).

Finally fulfilled that drawing request.

Rosalina dressed as Solid Snake (MGS2).

I might make a more detailed version later on and make a poster out of it with a background and parody logo. But this will do for the drawing request.

I had to take some changes to the outfit, to accommodate for the different sex. Male and female sneaking suits generally are not the same for obvious reasons, so I did my best to adjust the outfit while still having it look similar to the original.

But yeah I'm pretty happy with it. I can provide a much higher res version too if anyone is interested.

How about Albert Wesker from Resident Evil?

We've seen what he's capable of in MVC3, and easily one of the underlying antagonists of the Resident Evil series.

...That said, I should probably try to finish Resident Evil: Revelations, and get undoubtedly the best of them all - Resident Evil 4. I'm not entirely up to speed with the Resident Evil franchise, but Wesker could be an interesting choice. "Learn your place."

There's also Heihachi Mishima too as a third party villain newcomer.

RE5 was very recent whe MvC3 was chosen.

I wish that the SF3 characters themes in SFV will combine the themes from all three SF3 games like Urien's 2nd impact theme appearing in the 2nd half, and Alex's them having the 2nd half of his Impact theme with Sirens, unique jingles, and his 2nd round from TS being there.

He's been canonically dead, but Capcom refuses to let him actually die.
His family members are central characters in the last two main Resident Evil games.

They even made a non-canon Wesker mode in the upgraded remaster of Resident Evil Zero.

Nobody will ever convince me that Nintendo doesn't know who their real audience is when they are pulling stuff like that.
