Both Wolf and Corrin are unique because they both give you a unique gameplay style and experience.

And it's a "fact" the context is insulting
No, it isn't really.

Not if what I am stating is fact. To argue about something without a clear purpose in mind is blind arguing. To do so because you are overly passionate about a subject and cannot accept even slightly differing views on something, is blind fanboyism.

I was stating a fact. It would be an insult if I had malicious intent or if I was being insensitive, but I didn't/wasn't, I was trying to present a flaw in the way the argument was heading.

Also note:

You called people blind fanboys for defending something that they are tired of seeing get bashed. There's your context, not to mention I highly doubt you can call anything a blind fanboy WITHOUT making it an insult
That isn't what I said:

All you guys do by arguing any further with me about this, is prove to me that you are blind fanboys of the character and cannot accept people who think Corrin is anything less than the most unique and precious cinnamon roll in the game.
I said it would be fanboyism to CONTINUE trying to ram the SAME points into me, which is the territory the argument was heading in.

Also I wasn't bashing Corrin, so frankly, if you're sick of people bashing him, you're targeting the wrong person and only giving off the impression that Corrin's fanbase is overly hostile and will even target people who LIKE the character.

The fact that you will buy Corrin does not mean people can't feel differently about the character than you do, and make a point of stating that.
I flat out said, NUMEROUS times, that it was fine if people felt differently about Corrin though.

It's not fanboyism to say "I disagree with your point," full stop. If you don't want to engage in the debate, don't respond to people's posts.
Except that's not what happened here. Something tells me you didn't read what happened.

Someone ELSE made the point that "Corrin isn't as unique as people make him out to be".

I concurred with that and gave my reasons.

People disagreed and tried to give some reasons. I acknowledged that was fine of them to think that but I thought the arguments were flawed and didn't change my mind.

Then people try to hammer those same points into me blindly despite me already saying it was fine of them to think what they think and I ultimately like the character anyway.

Disagreement does not equal harassment.
No, it doesn't. Never said it did.

But repeatedly trying to make someone do something after they have already said "no", is literally, by law, the definition of harassment.

I said that I didn't think Corrin was wholly unique. I said it was fine if people thought otherwise, and people tried to give me a few points to change my mind, but it ultimately was not enough for me.

They then repeatedly hammer those same points towards me even though I CLEARLY said they weren't going to change either my (ultimately positive) impression on Corrin, or my eventual purchase and enjoyment of him, and while they repeatedly hammer those points, they get increasingly hostile, going as far as to start name calling.

By legal definition, that is harassment. And if people are going to harass me over my opinions on a video game character whom I still ulitmately have a positive impression of, then yes, it is a FACT, not an INSULT, that they are being blind fanboys.

Just to recap on what a blind fanboy is, it is one who fails to see fault in something and attacks people who do, even when the people they are attacking still ultimately like the same thing.

I'm considering starting Bayonetta 1 because the instakill QTEs seem less bull**** than this argument (correct use of ad hominine or however the **** it's spelled) /endnonsensical****
But what if, god forbid, we found your logic flawed? Earlier you said Pac Man had an air stalling move, therefore Corrin isn't as unique. What makes a character unique is how they play, how they feel. I felt like your argument didn't really make sense, which is why thus debate went on. If I said 'Sonic games are fun, but I don't like how Sonic has 5817 nipples on his sprite', had people say otherwise, can I call them 'blind fanboys?' Because that's your logic, 'If I like it, nothing negative I said about it can be questioned'

Have Youtube users really come to this?

In all honesty I used to watch videos of some of those folks in the Minecraft community quite often. No problem if one finds their videos entertaining, but I can't deny they get a lot more "praise" than they probably should.

And now, one of them has their in-game skin on a player character as a product?

....I'm not really sure how to respond to that. Other than to say I don't like it.

I totally agree.

But for some reason you guys ignored this when I said it earlier.

I don't think Corrin is wholly unique. But I think he is unique, and more than stands on his own.

Nice. Would be nice if they got my favorite n64 game. That said, I'd love it if they had more translated games brought to the US(namely if they have major differences from the normal US version. Like how some of the Pokemon games don't have gambling outside of the Japanese versions).

Guys...

Getting personal about these things isn't going to help.

People on both sides are getting very personal.

Honestly, just drop it and move on with your lives.

I'm not the one getting personal here.

At the end of the day, I will forget about this come tomorrow.

This is the final thing I'll say about this argument.
'I'm not the one getting personal here.'
'You are all blind fanboys'
Quote where I said "you are all blind fanboys" exactly.

As in, in the present tense.

Again, I'm not the one getting personal here. You're the one constantly trying to twist what I said to make it sound more malicious than it actually was.

Even though we ultimately agree with each other on the thing you started arguing with me over.

I've decided on my new year's resolution.

Make a IRL Sandbag, and pretend I'm indulging its masochistic desires by doing the Saitama Workout ( The turn yourself into a OP Superhero through basic strength training).

It's long, but worth it.

So I finally got around to creating a Geno Mii for my Mii Fighter collection. Does anyone have any suggestions on what specials I should assign for him? Haven't fully played Super Mario: RPG yet, so I'm not quite sure what specials would suit him best.

New Years Resolutions! Here are mine

Care more about my looks: I've never been that kind of girl, but I should at least try
Be more organized: I'm usually very messy with important stuff, got my insurances done on the last 2 days and forgot something for a colleague today! Oops!
Runbow got a 25% discount and new content will be revealed soon

I'm probably the only who cares about that game but cool :p

Guess what ya boi is getting as a Christmas present for himself. :yeahboi:
Looking it up, that Genesis adapter should fit, but if you want to play English carts you'll have to get a regular SNES. Vise versa, you can just remove the tabs in the SNES slot with a knife to play Super Famicom games. There might be a Japanese Game Genie, and you can just play them like how imports work for the N64, but I'm not sure.

Wily Wars IMO is just as good as playing the originals IMO, and honestly it may actually be cheaper these days than picking up the originals. It fixes some problems such as MM2's E-Tank/Game Over, slow down, and massive sprite flickering. But at the same time it has slow down in other areas, speeds things up in others, and some things are less precise/too precise in other areas.

Off the top of my head I remember Bomb/Fire/Quick/Yellow Devil being easier, while Cut/Elec/Wood/Hard being harder. The Magnet Beam has a smaller range, making Wily 1's section with it very annoying. Ledges aren't as precise/you can't stand on them with 2 pixels anymore.

I don't really make New Year's Resolutions, personally.

I prefer to just tackle problems or make improvements when I notice them directly. No need to force myself to think something is a problem when it may not actually be.

Thanks for the advice! I've heard a lot about Wily Wars and figured it'd be the best option to get it since I haven't played any of the original Mega Man games other than the second one.

Now, about SNES cartridges not being able to fit into a Super Famicom. I've actually come up with a solution already.
upload_2015-12-31_18-5-33.png

I plan one getting one of these. This device is mainly just a flashcart, but it can also work as an import device. Once I buy this, I should be able to play NA SNES Cartridges on my SFC. I can also rip my game cartridge to an SD Card, which means I can finally play some ROM hacks I've been keeping an eye on. Although, I'm not going to download ROMs online. I'd rather have something physical :p.

"Runbow is a multiplayer-focused platformer in which players aim to be the first to reach a trophy at the end of each level"

It's like if you mixed Smash, Mario Kart and SpeedRunners with tons of indies. 9-player local multiplayer is the best part about the game with its different modes: reach the goal, king of the hill, last man standing or gamepad user trying to kill everyone

My brother got a 4K TV over the Christmas and we just tested some PC games on it today.

Of the ones we tried, the ones that ran at their full frame rate in 4K were Sonic Lost World, Skullgirls, Half Life 2, and Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed.

Everything else still ran in full frame rate at 2K though.

Needless to say, it all looked super crisp in those resolutions. It looked really cool.

I can't wait to see what Smash 4 looks like upscaled to it.
