I just wanted to weigh in quickly on that leak. I'm not saying it's real, but:

It isn't impossible for Cloud to activate summons with a Smash Taunt. I don't really buy it and we know the Materia thing is how you normally summon summons, but it actually could be that both are the case. Cloud getting a specific home advantage on that stage does make sense, since those summons are an ability HE has in FFVII. It'd be a series first if they did it (at least, giving a character THAT big an advantage on a home stage).

The thing that kills the leak for me though, is the bit where he says "Professor Layton is just about shorter than Rosalina". Considering that he says he simply seen footage from the broadcast or whatever, there would have to be a clear shot of Layton and Rosalina standing right next to each other for him to catch such a detail and be able to compare them so specifically. It's not impossible for that to be the case, I could see them giving Layton some cute gentlemanly interactions with some female characters in the trailer, but it seems like such a specific thing for him to note IMO and relies on that specific shot being in this hypothetical trailer.

Yeah, I can understand that. For me, I voted for Pokemon RBY for some of the polls because they were better than some of the games it was competing against.

Sonic 2 is a classic, but so is Pokemon RBY. And I have a lot more fun with Pokemon RBY than Sonic 2. So it wins that particular competition in my head.

Nostalgic feeling is a factor for a lot of games.

The sole fact Mario 64 is getting father than Mario Galaxy 2, Megaman 2 is somewhat the highest rated classic MM game when 3, 4 & 9 are much stronger games

IMO localisation is not automatically censorship. The two can be mutually exclusive. Localisation can include censorship, though, of course.

Censorship is considered the suppression or indeed, removal, of a message or theme. And that alone.

Some localisation projects may ALTER messages to make them more clear to a different demographic, but since it's not suppressing it, I wouldn't call those cases censorship. More like, conversion of the message into a different format, so that the message is actually spread more.

Censorship would more so entail totally removing or greatly distorting the message to a point where it's not really the same anymore, so less people are getting to see the message.
