No, not as a main game, cutting a bunch of 1st party characters that people have been playing as for years for a bunch of 3rd party characters, won't go over well. The only way this idea would work is if its a spin off.Speaking of third party characters, I had this idea for the next Smash game
How about the next Smash Bros in the series is a crossover with another company like for example;
Super Smash Bros: Nintendo X Capcom
Where the next game is filled with half Nintendo charaters and half Capcom characters. We already have 2, why not have 24 more?
