FFVII remake being announced to split into parts is like a guy with a stellar resume that just has "P.S. I'm an ax murderer, hope you don't mind." written at the end.

I'm assuming Square will moneyhog. Maybe the best will happen and it'll just be multiple disks in one case sold at once. I just don't have a lot of faith in gaming companies to not be greedy though.

I'd be fine with it considering that he at least got in over third parties like Shantae, Geno and Jibaynan but disappointed that a more high caliber third party such as Snake or Rayman wasn't chosen instead.

In either case the saltstorm would demand I prepare some popcorn and enjoy it. I wouldn't be angry overall, just slightly disappointed, but I do like the character.

That's interesting but I'd much prefer just having Nintendo vs. Capcom be a game by itself.
In the event that games does exist, here's a (small) roster I put together.

It's only 40 characters, so if there were more I'd like to see somebody not already in Smash Bros. (although these characters' movesets would probably be very different)

Regarding the supposed Sceptile leak, I think the context makes sense. A hostess for several Pokemon themed shows(and provides occasional anime voices) getting her hands on a build of Pokken that would have Sceptile in preparation for the reveal on the 10th.

Doesn't outright confirm it but it's still a detail worth keeping in mind.

I seriously want a Nintendo vs Capcom but I suggested one in a Smash format because of just how easy it is just to port over the Nintendo character + Megaman/Ryu and spend the rest on Capcom characters and maybe 1-2 new Nintendo fighters.

It works both ways anyhow because a Nintendo vs Capcom fighter is something everyone wants.


Then once the game is out, the fight wave of DLC is called the Sega Invasion
Second Wave is the Namco Invasion
And the Final wave is Square-Enix Invasion +M. Bison & Charizard

I also tried ranked battle now that it's available for me and liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I doubt I'll ever make it to one of the top ranks, but playing tower control is already fun enough that I don't really care if I'm stuck in the lower ones. It's neat that rollers still seem to have a role in it (at least in the lower ranks) despite it seemingly being more focused on combat than turf war is.

I guess I support the Inklings for Smash now... While I don't know how likely they are for DLC this time around, I think they have the potential to be really unique fighters and I'd probably use them.
