Speaking of Pokken, I found this. Not sure if it's completely legit (so fill free to tear it apart if need be), but:Well let's see what tomorrow brings. Even if it's nothing, only have to wait until Thursday for Pokken.
Where to begin, where to begin?Give me some examples.
If only the water type starter got in too.*looks at username*
Alright, which one of ya pranked me?

If you guessed Sceptile, you guessed correctly!
Having not seen PGBC, I have no idea whether I agree.I'd watch a 24 hour marathon of Uncle Grandpa before I'd watch a half-hour of Pig Goat Banana Cricket.
UG is somewhat bearable, PGBC isn't.

Uh, isn't he a great-uncle? Or did I miss the joke? The worst thing about uncle grandpa,is that his main title-joke doesn't work in my country,he would be only the equivalent of a
great-uncle here.
I literally just watched that entire show today. I posted a screenshot earlier.Uhhhh... How appropriate that we're talking about poorly animated shows, because I found this...
This was from last year... Good god, this makes Boom's animation look like Pixar.
wait you dont have the term mother ****** ?The worst thing about uncle grandpa,is that his main title-joke doesn't work in my country,he would be only the equivalent of a

The constant joke about the character,is that he is an innuendo about incest, really.Uh, isn't he a great-uncle? Or did I miss the joke?
Boom has good models, lighting, expressions and color quality. The animation, when you break it down, is really, REALLY stiff.I literally just watched that entire show today. I posted a screenshot earlier.
I actually recommend it to any SEGA fan.
And to be fair, it's really low budget. It's made in MMD, which is free to use. Also to a degree, some of the lackluster animation is intentional and adds to the charm of the show, since the characters are literally inside of various SEGA video games.
Also Boom has really good animation.
OhThe constant joke about the character,is that he is an innuendo about incest, really.
It gets worse on the PT dubbing, because you know what is supposed to be,but they keep trying.
Part of that is due to Boom intentionally using 2D animation techniques in 3D, which is actually kind of rare. I personally really like it though, it's unique and blends to styles that I often have a hard time choosing between.Boom has good models, lighting and color quality. The animation, when you break it down, is really, REALLY stiff.
Even as a Die Hard Sega guy, I'll just take your word on that show... How bizzare, man.
...Okay maybe it's worth trying to watch it.Probably the best thing about the show is that one of the main characters is voiced by none other than Yuji Naka himself.
Boom's animation can either be really good, or really stiff. It really depends on the episode, though the action sequences always look a little off.Boom has good models, lighting, expressions and color quality. The animation, when you break it down, is really, REALLY stiff.

I seriously don't know why Sega doesn't make a Chao spinoff game, the demand is there.
AAAAAUGH SOMEONE MAKE THIS AN OFFICIAL THING ALREADY.
Seriously, I miss the little blue abominations. I'm enough of a loser that I'd buy a Chao game, Sega. :V
...Okay maybe it's worth trying to watch it.
UmWhy is it that I keep finding religious debates everywhere?
This might not be a bad thing as it could mean getting the game sooner.
FF7R is episodic.
Likely going to be 3 parts (1 for each disc)
Not sure how to feel about this
Because they need your help Swamp. Why is it that I keep finding religious debates everywhere?
That's... hm. I have mixed feelings too. I'd like it all at once, but I suppose if they only split it like they would the 3 disks (so that we at least have a good third of the game each time) and don't charge each as their own full price game, I can live with it.

Not sure where you got that, but I'm hoping that if that statement is true/real that it means that the FFVII family (includes crisis core and advent children) is being remade and that it's not just the original....

Well....then I'll continue to hope that the remake includes aspects of the expanded universe.SE released a press release which contained the info.
Aye, sir (madam?)!Embrace your dreams.
As they said in Crisis Core... Unobtainable dreams are the best kind.
I never got to finish it...GOD Crisis Core is so well written.

Yeah there are many kinds of otaku. For example, train otaku are people who are obsessed with trains. Not quite.
Otaku can be looked down upon in Japan as much as they are in the West, if not more.
However, I should note that, whereas we Westerners use the word "otaku" to describe hardcore/obsessive fans of Japanese media, the word "otaku" has a slightly different meaning over there: it means someone obsessed with a particular interest, not just anime. I remember reading something about Iwata in which claimed that he "would be considered an otaku nowadays" (due to his passionate interest in programming and software design).
Basically a more equivalent term to us would be nerd or geek. (Tagging PushDustIn here for some input.)
However, you could say the percentage of (anime/manga/video game) otaku in Japan is bigger than in the West for higher exposure. They're a bigger minority, but still a minority. Nevertheless, it's significant enough so that companies can exclusively exclusively target that niche and secure an audience.
Of note is that people of all ages in Japan read manga, so it's not a niche market over there. There's all sorts of manga spanning multiple literary genres with different degrees of maturity and art styles. There are even manga series aimed at elderly people!
AFAIK, I think that anime doesn't have the same kind of broad appeal as manga, being more primarily aimed at younger audiences, but there's animation targeted at older and niche audiences, usually broadcast at late night and/or on less accessible TV channels (satellite and such).
Let's see how long will you last, then.
It's being touted as a "full remake" though. What worries me is that they make it sound like a "best FF7 moments" and not a full remake.
Sir. You could have just clicked on my profile to check, it's not like I'm the only dude with a girl in his avatar here. :VAye, sir (madam?)!
I never got to finish it...
and SquareEnix says FF7 Remake's data size so huge; the software will be split into several titles (for example, FF7-Remake 1, FF7-Remake 2)

So if it's gonna be that massive then expect some major changes like what they will do with Vincent and Yuffie and make them permanent party members, possibly remake Crisis Core and expand on a lot of things. They really are doing multiple discsand SquareEnix says FF7 Remake's data size so huge; the software will be split into several titles (for example, FF7-Remake 1, FF7-Remake 2)
