On the topic of Ice climbers, how would you feel if the Summit came back, but not ice climbers?

You think so? Ted usually my favorite member of the brainscratch crew. probably do the fact that we have the same opinion on earthbound,Pokemon. And a few others.I don't think his review was bad but not great either.the mystery dungeon never interested me though
Let's be perfectly honest, outside of Johnny and the guest commentators like Clement, Gareth and Nathan (also Donnie but no one cases about Donnie), BSC has members that lets be honest a lot people can really say they get on their nerves

Ryan's constant ******** about everything Mario, how Zelda isn't hardcore enough or it desperately needs voice acting.

Lewis monotone pessimistic attitude over a lot games and he does have a lot hipster attitude with Sonic especially the Rush games because 'muh hidden paths'

And Ted is the worst. Defending Sonic Boom, his crazy hatred for Zelda (I dislike the series but not out of spite but due to it not being interesting IMO) and just being a delusional and blind Nintendo fanboy in certain cases

There are smash fans who think the broadcast will coincide with the game awards. Wait that's unsurprising.
I'm honestly one of those people who thinks it's perfectly possible for it to happen.

Mostly because this is probably the biggest Gaming Event to happen at the end of the year. If Nintendo is looking for the Smash Presentation to be the same length as the one around E3 (20 Minutes in Length), they could easily have it be a pre-show of sorts to hype up The Game Awards while market it on its own in different territories where the awards show isn't as prominent.

Now do I think it's likely? Not really, but its better to keep an open mind about this kind of thing. Kind of like expecting the unexpected. After Cloud's reveal, I'd rather keep an open mind about things than thinking only one thing can happen. I think it's strongly possible this may happen and its better for us to keep that in the back of our minds rather than keeping a narrow perspective.

Again, this could go a variety of ways. I think we'll just have to wait in due time.

I wasn't planning on ever getting an Amiibo, but it was cheaper than i expected them to be, so i bought one.

There were also lots of Marth Amiibos there for some reason.

To be honest I kinda hate doonie he tries a bit to hard to be funny and tries to turn everything to a mean.Gareth,Clement, and Nathan are cool.Gareth and Nathan should really be members already at least Nathan.

Ryan I agree with over the years he's become a lot more of a pessimist person. He's complain about Zelda really gets annoying after hearing for the 15th time.

I like Lewis enough I think he has a bit of a talking problem. Especially to games he likes/recorded.But your spot on with the sonic thing though. Sonic rush is like the worst showing of how Lewis can get during a commentary.

Ted hate for Zelda is something I don't get still(especially seeing his love for hyrule warriors and link cross bow training) and I haven't really seen him defend sonic boom just say it's not as bad as the other make it.

I think brainscratch is still enjoyable but that's coming from a very bias view if I step away from that I do see your points and see how a lot of people wouldn't really enjoy the channel

I expect the announcement to go into detail about Cloud's limit break gimmick, reveal at least one new character, talk about their gimmick and then "available after this presentation"

It's half past midnight where I am. November 30th is already here.

Only one day till the hype month begins.

Xenoblade Chronicles X, monthly manga chapters I'm anticipating and the Smash Bros. presentation. My body is ready.

It's one of the reasons I prefer SGB mostly because how it's a perfect blend of Johnny, Elliot and Matt (with a side of Mark).

Plus they play various and unique games without having to play Nintendo/Sonic games everytime. Especially when they do Devil May Cry, Crash Bandicoot, Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil.

Plus they don't skim on the Metroid and Castlevania either

BrainScratchComms tier list:

S-tier: Johnny - The most lively of the bunch while also having lots of good points on games. Pulls a lot of original humour from the games, such as his famous "Manically Depressed Luigi" voice. Also has two other active channels so you get more of him too. Probably does the best job at playing the games compared to the other members overall, does a lot of playthroughs, and provides the best video quality.

A-tier: Ted - Also quite lively and has a lot of good humour. Brings interesting points to the table and has been seeing more exposure due to GameXplain over the last few months, as well as his Hyrule Warriors streams that he does regularly. His speech can often be a bit awkward though and it can take him an age to say what he wants to say, basically stutters and "ums" and "uhs" a lot. Also tries too hard with the puns sometimes. He also hasn't played much outside of Nintendo which can lead to some ignorance from him, even if he doesn't mean any ill will with it. He's also considerably younger than the others, and it shows in some instances of random immaturity and not "getting" a reference or something (but to be fair I can't fault him there, I'm basically around his age, probably even younger, and I certainly don't get every reference made).

B-Tier: Lewis - Very smart, definitely comes across as like he's actually studied game design to a degree. However, his voice is EXTREMELY boring a lot of the time and has legit made me sleepy. He can also take a long time to make a point but unlike Ted who stutters a lot, Lewis will instead draw out syllables to a jarring degree at times, which goes back to the "making me sleepy" thing. He also seems to cut off jokes and gags at times just so he can express how a certain section of a game frustrated him or to make some kind of point. It's not always a bad thing as I tend to like the points he brings up, it's just cutting people off seems a bit rude to me, he should just let them finish having a laugh. However, during live playthroughs, Lewis easily becomes a highlight. He's MUCH more easy going and lively when he's playing a game live, especially if he likes the game. He often starts a lot of good recurring jokes ("PEACH WAS USEFUL" in the 3D World playthrough being a great example), and seems more inclined to talk about positives of a game when playing it live and will mostly just gloss over a negative very briefly. He'd be above Ted IMO if he was this healthy mix of funny and brainy all of the time, but since live playthroughs don't happen often and he's otherwise very meh in regular ones, he goes to B-tier.

C-Tier: Ryan - I admittedly am not a big fan of Ryan, not now anyway. Ryan is the founder of BSC, and in it's early days, he was actually perfectly fine. Got excited about the games, made jokes, was very chatty, etc - however, something has changed since then, and now he's just so gosh darn negative, sometimes to the point where he starts killing my mood and I have to stop watching. I'm serious, he gets that bad sometimes. Lately, he often barely even speaks unless it's a game he recorded the playthrough for (in which case he basically has to speak, since he could be the only one who's even played it), to the point where I often forget he's there. And again, he's the FOUNDER of the channel, the main guy who runs it, which really makes it even worse. He's very overly critical, often complaining and ranting about the littlest of things in the games, and although he will joke around sometimes, it's usually just quotes or memes you've heard a thousand times (he does do some funny voice overs on occasion though, wish he did more of that). Also as far as recording goes, he basically never does edits anymore. If he is dying 10 times over in one section of the level, you're watching it and it often is difficult for the other commentators to keep up a discussion on the game when this happens, even leading to awkward silences on occasion. And don't get me started on live playthroughs. He has legit caused TENSION in the group because he's always blaming the game for every little thing, even if it's his fault, or he gets overly salty over a loss in Smash or something. Or if they are playing a co-op game, he doesn't often let the other guys just mess around, experiment, or have fun. He takes it way too seriously, wanting to just charge through the level or take item collection way too seriously, he basically has a "get the game over and done with" attitude a lot of the time. You'll be hearing the phrase "Just go..." a lot when Ryan's in a live co-op playthrough. He's been getting a bit better lately in regular playthroughs though, he is at least not quite as negative. He's barely spoken in the SA2 playthrough so far though.

NOTE: I am not really critiquing them as people, just as commentators.

I legit put time into this and thought about it, lol...

Marth's gotten massive restocks here in the US. Particularly in Best Buy and, recently, GameStop.

It was on Antofagasta, Chile.

Though it wasn't the first time i saw a Marth Amiibo. Oh and also i saw Ike Amiibos as well.
I did not bought a Marth Amiibo because im not a fan of him to be honest (#Roy's Our Boy). If i ever get Amiibomania, i may end up getting an Ike Amiibo.

EDIT: What Opossum Opossum said. Plus i also saw the face of that Marth Amiibo at my store and i can safely say it was the restock version and not the original "Merth" version.

Technically, not all first print Marths were "Merths". It's just an example of bad quality control.

I was lucky enough to get a first print Marth that didn't have a bad face. In fact, a lot of the restock Marths I've seen look worse than mine.

Another note is that, at least in the earlier months of Amiibo, European copies often looked better than US copies for some reason. A lot of people complain about this or that Amiibo looking off, but my copies look just fine, and I got a similar impression from other people in Europe.

ah I see. Haven't been lucky enough to see any. My best buy did have plenty of dark pit, falco, Captain Falcon, and fox amiibos recently. Which was nice. I had fox already, but picked up the other 3. If I can, I'll definitely buy Marth if I see him.

So Nintendo is going to the VGAs after all... Crap, now I actually have to watch the damn thing.

Inb4 people expect a Smash announcement even though we're clearly getting a seperate direct for that.

Marth has been restocked for a while here. All of the Fire Emblem characters were, actually. However, they are still around simply because I don't think anybody is really buying them.

VGA awards don't catch my attention. Sure, the quality has gone up since the previous train wrecks but I don't care enough.

I'll just wait when they pop up on GoNintendo (my place for Nintendo news).

I think the Smash announcement will be it's own separate thing. Especially if it's the last ever announcement. Wave 5 is gonna be big.

That's all that thing is too us now
It's not the Zelda U Presentation we've been longing for from 2014
It's not anything atleast decent that might've happened 2012 or past
It's just
2013
Cranky Kong

And that's all it'll ever be

No, you have it all wrong, we are going to get "Zelda" as cross promotion for the Zelda U footage. Here's the new character:
