Woo, just beat 3DS Classic on 9.0 with Mewtwo.

I've been trying this for a while but I finally beat Master Core.

Did you lose any lives? Because that's where it gets really hard. There's a couple equipment strategies you can use with Bowser to get through it alright.

Once you've gotten through all the cores forms once though, you're almost set. It's just a matter of remembering the layout of the fortress/what triggers what and such.

I am still so peeved, I ALMOST managed to finally do a 9.0 no lives lost, no equipment run with , but right when the Fortress spits you out for phase 2, it killed me. Literally, the TRANSITION killed me somehow. I've never been able to replicate it since then, but I was peeved.

More characters for Hyrule Warriors? I don't see anyone else that isn't either Vaati or Majora (maybe both).

Why? because Linkle's story implies someone did a hostile take over on Hyrule Castle and none of the villains already in the game wouldn't make sense given the story's placement.

Since Legends seems to be taking more cues from the "Toon" games, Vaati could be the villain in Linkle's scenario or even Wind Waker's. Majora is another possibility I see thanks to Skull Kid's involvement in the plot.

But we already pretty much have Majora, cause remember the entirety of Majora's Mask, Majora was in control not Skull Kid, cause if Skull Kid was in control no way in hell he'd take over Hyrule Castle, that isn't a harmless prank, more likely the villian will be Toon Ganondorf.
