Ya'll can't read or infer anything on this board I swear.

I said there is a lot of band-wagoning and detracting done because it is the in thing to do or done without really any knowledge of the character. It happens with many characters...

But..

I used examples. By god they just happened to be 3 hot button ones. I didn't say it was only happening with SK, or K. Rool or Ridley. It also happens with characters other than them too.

For ****s sakes I even used Cloud. Who went from ''He should never get in, he's a Playstation character, it should be Black Mage or Terra or Cecil" to ''Well, obviously Cloud was the shoo-in Final Fantasy character" for a lot of people across the net and fandom.

However I also by no means said ''ALL IT IS IS THAT." for those three examples,I know that is stupid to think. There are plenty of real detractors and supporters with REASONS for it. However there's also a lot with no real reason to detract or support.

There is still a large chunk of people who support and detract against characters without any real knowledge of the character and you're not exactly being truthful if you think there ISN'T.

I'm getting really really tired of my words being misconstrued around this joint.

I still haven't beaten Valkyria Chronicles (the first one) on Steam.

Which is strange because I liked it. I ragequit after sniper tanks in the desert super early in the game but I dont know why I didnt go back >_> My backlog strengthens


Also Indivisible prototype is on Steam. I have no idea if anyone pointed it out yet. Yay more spammy advertisement

Speaking of Valkyria Chronicles, in what platforms is it avaible on? And how is it compared to FE?(I only ask this because FE is my only point of reference for turn based sfrafsgy games)

It;s on PS3 and PC atm and... that's all I know other than it had an anime.

I actually don't think Ganondorf in Smash is out of character. He retains his main character traits, being powerful, possessing dark powers and being evil.

The moveset is whole other subject and although I don't mind it as it is now, I do agree that, beyond its overall concept of being powerful and the usage of dark magical effects, it does feel somewhat generic and, well, Falcon-derived. Still, he does take some cues from the few times he fights barehanded and has his signature transformation into Ganon as a Final Smash, which fits the character perfectly. Other details like entering the battle via dark portal or some of his taunts and win poses are something I can also appreciate.

I think the fact he has remained clone-ish is understandable from a game design POV and, in that regard, Ganondorf hasn't been treated differently from any other veteran. I've always been ambivalent in regards to his moveset in Smash. If they change it, cool. If they don't, I don't mind since he's fun to play as.

Regardless, I feel that the characters aren't solely defined by how they fight, especially one such as Ganondorf who changes his fighting style a lot. Still, he does have a lot more potential and Hyrule Warriors shows it well in its own over-the-top Musou style.

Well, not that it matters because whether he uses magic, fights barehanded, wields weapons such as katanas, big swords or a trident, Ganondorf is ****ing Ganondorf and kicks ass all the same.

It's more like Codename STEAM than FE by a longshot. . . except without 3 hour long waits between turns (still pretty long)
Instead off a bunch of literary heroes you have footsoldiers with unique perks, stats, and personalities instead of crazy unique weapons.
EX all riflemen have the same rifles. No pumpkin weaponry.
(NOTE. only played first few chapters)

Dude, it's sooo good.And you can get VC2 on the psp or vita. Unfortunately the third one wasnt localized.... But I'm hoping the new one (a PS4 game mind you) gets translated. I like Japanese and all and am learning it in my spare time, but I'd prefer it in my native language: Engrish.

Hm, I remember my brother told me about how Sega was making a new console according to a facebbook post awhile back. I never found anything on it, but I guess it's right. If it succeeds we can truly relive the 90s and Sega could be become a big success again, and do more with their IPs. Please Sega, Billy Hatcher 2, Make it happen!

They'd lose so much money. There's barely room for 3 consoles on the market. A 4th by a company that already exited the game years ago isn't going to really stand a chance against the three giants we have right now.

There's a reason it's only Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft. The 3 of them are media giants.

They have money for days. All 3 of them take losses and can afford it.

Something that Sega can't afford or do.

While you're joking, Sega Sammy makes money on those things moreso than any company and it keeps them from not being in the red.

They are the ONLY company making money off of Pachinko machines and really benefits from it because it helps out their gaming division with funds
