Show me a quote then where Sakurai said that the character couldn't be owned by another company. Sakurai's criteria are the following:
It’s not going to be anyone and everyone.
Both companies have to want the character to join the battle.
The character must carry game history with them. (Besides that, it might be something like a courtesy to include a character who has the experience of being on a Nintendo platform)

Master Chief doesn't break any of those guidelines, and any manipulation you do of Sakurai's guidelines to try and make your point is completely on you, or anyone else who is doing the same.

Show me a quote from Sakurai that says assist trophies, and Poke Ball Pokemon cannot be playable.

We're making assumptions here but the lack of something isn't a confirmation that its okay.

That Master Chief firearms thing is just a complete copout, there are many if not dozens of weapons in Halo that aren't "realistic"

Chrom can use several non sword weapons.

But Sakurai had problems with him because his iconic design used Falchion.

Chief's main weapon is that Assault Rifle. It's in most of his marketing.

I personally doubt Sakurai would really want to use Cheif without his most iconic stuff.

I have the trilogy but I stopped playing after I got stuck in the snow area in Prime. Should probably get back to it later....

You quit in the best area of the game and my favorite area in all Of Metroid
yeah there is some absolute garbage backtracking ("hey you just got here now go back to the beginning of the game then immediately come back") but the atmosphere, the areas, the enemies, and the music (sweet jesus the music is some of my favorite in gaming) is amazing.

Get back to it ASAP (not biased at all)

Tetris Attack is just a localized version of a Panel de Pon game.

FF7 made me really want a Tifa brawler costume. Of course I dont actually play mii brawler/gunner so I dont really care.

Well, the ability to steal health from opponents when you hit them

Not constantly getting hit by critical strikes (Although dealing critical strikes comes as an advantage with that)

A much more powerful soultimate move - more powerful as in it actually deals damage

Although I think the best compromise would to have them both on my team

Edit: It also looks like more spirit, but I dunno honestly if that's true

Man, I NEED more than just FF7 music...I know that's sacrilege to some FF7 fans, but just throw me a couple of songs from Mana, Chrono Trigger, Romancing Saga, DQ, etc.

I enjoyed the first two games but passed out on Gates to Infinity due to it looking lame.
