I think its fairly obvious that Bibarel is the most Canadian seeing as its a frikking Beaver, our national animal....@Pokemon has been around in Canada since 1998! Which Pokemon do you think is the most Canadian? #PokemonSunMoon pic.twitter.com/yfC0HHisF1

Wait, wut?
It's interesting a whole country's Twitter is getting in the Pokémon hype but... wut?
Monetary Darwin Award, thy name is waitress.I was about to give my waitress a good tip. Then they mocked me to another waitress for not doing the math with a calculator.
...
If it makes you feel any better, the eagle sound effect is a sham. They use Red-Tailed Hawks for that stuff.I think its fairly obvious that Bibarel is the most Canadian seeing as its a frikking Beaver, our national animal...
Don't us Canadians feel special with our tree gnawing dam building rodents while the Americans have a gawddam majestic bird of prey as their animal...(was almost a Turkey though )
My thoughts for the Water/Ice-type combo for the Moon version mascot basically references how outer space is frigid, and certain planets can contain water particles as well.Fire/Electric would seem a decent typing for Solgaleo...I do keep getting an Arceus vibe...if Arceus were a badass sun lion that is...
I'm hoping for a Dark/Fairy typing for Lunaala though...seems fitting and those two typings seem the most associated with the moon...
Yeah I knew that...do you know what sound beavers are known for?Monetary Darwin Award, thy name is waitress.
Also don't they have better things to do than insulting their patrons?

Here, bask in the wheezing seagull noises.
i think they would be fire/psychic and fairy/flying.Oh yeah the mascots!
After rewatching the trailer, both legends have a cosmic feel to them.
I'm thinking psychic/fire
and Dark/psychic
Reminded me more of something straight outta NiGHTS.Lunaala reminded me of something but I couldn't remember what. Then it hit me
Mother ****ering motorcycle bats
Yeah I get it...I would associate the moon with water moreso because of how it effects the ocean's tides rather than 'water in space'...My thoughts for the Water/Ice-type combo for the Moon version mascot basically references how outer space is frigid, and certain planets can contain water particles as well.
Your last observation reminds me of the comparisons between Super Mario Bros. and Kirby's Adventure for the NES.Gonna list some of my observations of the trailers:
So first of all, this is the map of the region:
Note that this building from the concept art is nowhere to be seen however, so there is clearly a lot more to Alola then we've seen.
All Pokémon have little idle animations now!
I love the models that they made in gen 6, but they were always way too motionless. Glad they are fixing that now though.
Another thing they are touching up are the battle animations!
Water gun now vs then.
I'm really happy about this one, because battle animations in gen 6 were really hit or miss for me personally.
Another thing they've added is the trainer behind your Pokémon! I've been wanting this feature since I was a kid, just to make the battles feel more involved.
Now THIS is how you do a big city in 3D Gamefreak, nice to see they didn't go with Lumiose 2.0.
Also, everyone has a full body model finally! No more generic artwork for the Gym leaders and Elite 4/Champion.
I can also point out that these games look gorgeous. Best looking 3DS game? Best looking 3DS game.
Whoa whoa easy there, Satan. That EV training minigame can die
You want to talk about good looking late console releases, Little Samson all the wayYour last observation reminds me of the comparisons between Super Mario Bros. and Kirby's Adventure for the NES.
While both for the same console, Kirby looks leagues better than Mario. That's because Kirby was released late in the console's lifecycle, so the programmers had more experience with it. I think the same is happening here.
HORDE EV TRAINING IS BETTER! It gets the job done faster, isn't obnoxious for lefties, and Pokerus doubles it. Stupidly goodWhoa whoa easy there, Satan.
That minigame's the only reason I can do competitive Pokemon now.
I find horde more annoyingHORDE EV TRAINING IS BETTER! It gets the job done faster, isn't obnoxious for lefties, and Pokerus doubles it. Stupidly good
Didn't want to rely on that in case hordes don't return in future generations, haha. Plus I like the minigame aspect more than grinding.HORDE EV TRAINING IS BETTER! It gets the job done faster, isn't obnoxious for lefties, and Pokerus doubles it. Stupidly good
If you don't run Earthquake on a single pokemon, you have failed as a casual AND a competitive fan, not to mention there's a guide which shows how ridiculously easy it can beI find horde more annoying
1) You have to have a move that hits all opponents. Which I rarely have except surf
2) You run into a bunch of random other things as well
I rarely run into hordes anyway
I'll grant you that, but I honestly recommend Horde training, it takes like 30 minutes and you've got potentially 6 pokemon maxed out, whereas Super Training takes an hour per pokemon. Like the music thoughDidn't want to rely on that in case hordes don't return in future generations, haha. Plus I like the minigame aspect more than grinding.
I forgot about Earthquake. Although Earthquake is usually later in the game to find.If you don't run Earthquake on a single pokemon, you have failed as a casual AND a competitive fan, not to mention there's a guide which shows how ridiculously easy it can be

I hope not, I need something to team up with my already awesome Ground starters.Rowlet's final evolution is gonna end up being the Delphox of this game.
Just watch.
Oh yeah definitely. The year long break really benefited Sun/Moon.Your last observation reminds me of the comparisons between Super Mario Bros. and Kirby's Adventure for the NES.

Meganium?I want us to get a "cute" final evo for one of the starters, Iike, when did we ever get one of those? Braixen was a step in the right direction but Delphox is... you know it...
Also, I wonder if Pokemon Amie is coming back
That EV training minigame can die but I wanna pet Popplio
That's why competitive stuff should always be done post gameI forgot about Earthquake. Although Earthquake is usually later in the game to find.
How often are you raising 6 pokemon that require the exact same stat boosted?
I could see these as well. there are a lot of potential typings for these mons.i think they would be fire/psychic and fairy/flying.

These are great observations! The concept art alone confirms multiple islands as none of the structures in it are seen on this island.Your last observation reminds me of the comparisons between Super Mario Bros. and Kirby's Adventure for the NES.

Literally this! I would only raise competitive gen 6 pokemon if the removed the minigame.Whoa whoa easy there, Satan.
That minigame's the only reason I can do competitive Pokemon now.
The fact that both of these will never come to fruition saddens me. I don't own or play DI, but those were two classics that I thought would be great to see as figures. Especially since it would be merchandise for both, which do not really have any.Litten is the best starter. It looks so cute and bad *** money on fire/Dark.But guys disney infinity is dead with no gravity falls or kim possible set
Interesting... I definitely think that, this is where N Stars will appear as well.http://www.nintendo-insider.com/2016/05/nintendo-schedule-e3-2016-business-presentation/
Funny how this completely fell off the radar for most people. Nintendo is going to have a business presentation for investors which goes through titles all the way through Holiday 2016 meaning there's going to be no mention of the NX. I think this is where they're going to reveal the rest of the 3DS lineup that was leaked back in February and go over any other titles this year that we don't know about. Methinks this is where we'll first hear about Codename N-Stars.
