I'm loving everything I'm seeing for Generation VII. I can't decided if I love Rowlet or Popplio more (Litten is okay). Plus the region is beautiful.

Also, I've been playing a lot of Sunset Overdrive ever since I got it for free from the Xbox Gold service. I'm in total love with this game! The story/dialogue is absolutely clever, amazing, and most of all hilarious. What I really love is all the plentiful respawn animations.

I haven't bought any DLC yet but maybe I will once I've done everything else in the game.

Just looked up a video on the new starters. Apparently the owl has a "new move" called Leafage? It's basically razor leaf so it makes me wonder if it's just razor leaf mistranslated

The official site states that Rowlet starts with Leafage, so its the real deal.

Most assume it's what he uses. It could still be like razor leaf though and be a physical move.
But we will have to wait and see.

Reminds me of the initial XY reveal.

Fennekin was the runaway favorite.
Froakie was the punching bag.
Chespin was mostly overlooked.

It seems that Litten and Popplio get more love then Chespin and Froakie got, but it seems pretty similar at the moment.

Funny thing, I like Chespin's design at first during the reveal and was willing to go to him until I saw Greninja.


Because holy ****, that design was great and I didn't mind Froakie. Fenniken was overrated IMO.

As a frog-lover, I was always in the Froakie camp.
Never liked Fennekin, I thought its design was generic and uninteresting. I liked Froakie and Chespin a lot more.

Well... It kind of looks like the Tepig of Sun and Moon. Nobody really liked Tepig, all the attention was really over to Oshawott and Snivy (especially Snivy). But I think the attention kind of evened out over the years. So maybe in a few years everyone will find Plopplio as adorable as world's best grass Owl?

To be honest I think a lot of that is it's mostly there. It kinda has a Little Nemo vibe for me which is great and all, but it's kinda just among them.
Same with Litten. Just your basic cat design and fire is involved.

Though like many have said, it's best to wait 'till the evolutions before properly judging them.
