Well 4chan went into chaos with these "leaks"...

These surfaced last night(2nd ones). They supposedly match the trademark names.

They look nice, but the cat is to simple, the bird is overdesigned and nothing like an owl, seal is cool. They could be real, but they look off, and have minor errors( which legit leak have had), but the straight up attempt to copy the unova leaks also has me doubting them.

Also it's to convenient that this leaked afterwards. But we shall see. Thoughts?
I personally doubt those are real, while I can't personally describe it, something about those designs lack the character of Sugimori's typical starters.

I wouldn't mind if they were real, but I'm leaning more on the skeptical side here.

Hey guys. Long time no see. I need to make sure I come here more regularly, it's really cool to see it still active. I just finished this Wolf (from Zero) sprite that I thought came out awesome.

Don't you just love his Zero look? I had to take some creative liberty with his bottom half, as his Zero model is just a head, torso and arms. I used his spikey kneepads and boots from Brawl (but the boots are recoloured to more accurately fit his costume). I gave him a buckle that matches Star Fox's buckles from Zero.

That owl thing is old as ****, it was in a leak(with two different starters than those other two) sometime after the Direct
I like the bottom ones, especially the grass bird, wouldn't mind if it was real

Wow Seifer was a dissapointing boss. It starts out so epic, with Raijin and Fujin doing their thing, Seifer having his tattered uniform. And then e ****ing DESTROYS Odin. Awesome. . . and then he dies to a single limit break that didn't even get any finishers.

Gilgamesh showing up was cool even though I know nothing about him.



Not as dissapointing as Bahumet who died in 2 limit breaks and only attacked once.

Well the guy who posted the tweet DID say that the "Developers, not gamers" guy was in cahoots with Anita.

Said "Developers, not gamers" guy says the image was taken out of context. There's a video in the comments of the context, let me go get it. . .

*EDIT EDIT* Upon watching through that part of the video twice, the context seems pretty similar to the image that was tweeted. He said "once you become a developer, you stop being a gamer" and that some of the games that inspired him most were created by people who hate video games.

Comment section is pretty quick to rush to the defense of Mr. "Developer, Not Gamer," though.

*EDIT EDIT EDIT* Watching from the beginning now, and so far his argument is, "Now that I know how video games work, I've lost the ability to enjoy playing them. Since movie directors start hating everything about movies after making them and no one complains about them, that means I should be allowed to talk about how much I don't care about video games!"

. . .No. No, that just means those movie directors had a really awful work philosophy. Who cares if what they made was good, that's still a really detached way to think, and all the examples he gives are from before social media anyway. Does he really think people would be any happier if those people were around today talking about how much they hate movies than they are about this guy saying he doesn't give a crud about video games?

And it's entirely possible to be a developer and still have passion playing video games. Look at Sakurai. This guy has just lost any concept of passion in his life and assumes that's how everyone works and should work.

Because Apothecary and Merchant can't use swords.
And the varying forms of the Yato are all broken.

Ah, FFVIII player. Game is fun, but yeah, I agree with your boss assertion. I however got myself stuck on the dual bosses you mentioned. I needed certain abilities to be trained/levels to beat them, but was stuck in the city. And Diabolos was too weak to deal enough damage at the time.

Never got further than that. D:

I gave them both the old college try but gave up on them. FF1 was just . . .bland and FF2 for similar reasons but it also managed to be really slow.
But 4-7 are often considered the best! 8-10 are also pretty damn good, but 4-7 should be the starting points. Unless it's FFIVDS, that was hard as nails

I'd like XIII more if it wasn't hyper linear. I want halfway decent exploration of the overworld. At least be something close to Phantom Hourglass where I can choose my destination. Even if there's linear story progression(I can tolerate this), having no overworld, poor towns... ugh. Not a major fan of auto-battle either, but it can be interesting in general.

Merchant is probably the most useless class in the whole game, even more than Kinshi Knight
I really hope you A ranked or married someone to get this talent because you potentially wasted Corrn's secondary class

Is a character in Smash bros. who buffs his/her teammates, and heal them in average percents can be balanced if it's balanced? Or maybe a character who changes his properties of his attacks depending of what direction he's in (Aka a Gill-ese character).

Yeah, that Def/Res boost would be nice if Katanas didn't naturally reduce it
It's meant to nullify/mitigate (depending on the stage) the natural loss by being a Katana and further keep the boost to Speed, making it so contrasted to the Dragonstone.

Also it IS Hoshidan by nature so there's your lore reason for it.

Why the sword Garon gives you for the prologue is a katana is the bigger question

Kinshi Knight is an absurd class I don't know what the hell you're talking about. It's an amazing anti-flier flier. Especially with a shortbow.

The one I played is the hard one?

Oh goodie. I did my "restart partway through" song and dance a couple times on it and took a couple years of borrowing it and giving it back before I really got in the mood, but I beat it. Didn't go far enough into a second playthrough to do the bonus bosses and the one time I got a Tail I ended up getting my party wiped right after (It was a Black Tail, too, gosh freaking darnit. It was bad enough without it having been one of the hardest enemies in the game!!), but I beat it.

I like knowing that I might be able to steamroll the others if I ever try them. :awesome:

It was bad enough without it having been one of the hardest enemies in the game!!), but I beat it.

I like knowing that I might be able to steamroll the others if I ever try them. :awesome:
Some of what particularly made FF4DS harder was...

A) Stop wasn't as brokenly usable on most bosses.
B) Boss AI was tweaked, alongside some weaknesses.
C) Black Magic got nerfed hard.

Wait, Ganglari was a Katana? I never noticed that
But I'd prefer to have +1 in Def/Res rather than +1 in Spd, my Corrin is already a damn Swordmaster, speed is the last of her problems

Okay, I'm making my 3rd file because I messed up my Unit. My new unit still has Quick, and Excitable. Which talent do I need (Other than Samurai for Obv. reasons).

FFRK made that fight seem far more intimidating.
Because on turn 4 he'd cast reflect on himself, and turn 5 mega flare himself, causing it to be a PIERCING nuke.
And then you realize you have Dispel.

All it has are good skills, its caps are terrible and it's completely outclassed by the other shared promotions
Also due to how Weapon Ranks work in Fates, only Archers can fully take advantage of its gimmick
Besides, all you need is a Bow to kill flying units, not a whole separate class

I mean under dictionary definition, she definitely does.

The whole point of the story, if you actually play it, is to see her go from cold hard ***** (who's still fun to watch because she's a badass), to basically becoming a mom.

Weapon Durability was removed, so I see no reason why it shouldn't exist. Hell, that'd actually be great when the weight system was still there.
Still got a month before my country gets Fates, so I can't answer

Yes, especially since it has HOSHIDO! A place that is more of Japanese, a Martial Artist class would make sense for fates, especially since Faceless also are fist fighters.

So basically because I noticed Stop wasn't working on bosses and avoided it, it paid off? :awesome:

. . .TBH, I think I remember sitting down and reading strategy guides for the game a lot, so that was probably why the bosses didn't completely destroy me (I.E. I cheated). Then again, I don't have the patience for cookie cutter strategies, so aside from avoiding what the FAQs said would get me countered I'd typically just wing it. Expecting complex multilayer strategy? Too bad, Haste and Reflect blanket casting time!

LOL I hardly even remember fighting Bahamut. I think it says something when most of the midgame bosses terrified me more than he ended up doing. And the minibosses on my way up to him too, actually. That were later shrugworthy normal enemies in the final area.

So we're on the subject of Anti-Cloud(Lightning)?

The way her story is handled was at least done better than Other M (even if it was weaker in comparison to previously beloved games like VI and VII). And I've come to terms that the XIII saga is pretty overhated as of now.

We do have one already... just not playable
Unless you count Charlotte
And I don't like the reskinned classes, they're either still the same(Swordmaster and Pegasus) or just plain bad(Onmyoji, a reskin of Sage)
I do like the new Lance classes, especially Spear Fighter
